An Unexpected Roommate- Part 3

"So Ms. Black Belt looks like you are the thief in my bedroom!" said Arnav walking towards Khushi.

"Look Mr.Chaddi Man, I am sorry, this is all a big misunderstanding, and your driver brought me here. "

"Are you a two year old, that he forcefully brought you here?" Questioned Arnav as sarcasm dripped from his words.

"Chup Kar'.No need to act so smart I am leaving alright!"

Khushi began collecting her stuff from the room and grabbed her bag and headed towards the door to exit as Arnav stood in his disheveled state. However before she exited the apartment she came back inside the room and walked up to Arnav

"Can you drop me to this address?" She asked holding a piece of paper to his face.

"What? Do I look like a driver?" Spat a sexually frustrated Arnav.

Disappointed Khushi looked down and activated her drama queen mode.

"Oh! I understand, I will manage on my own in this big city that is totally new to me, at this hour of night. You don't have to worry about me."

"Well thats great!" said Arnav and stood by the door showing her the way out.

Khushi was shocked by the coldness of this man.

"AH! Aadmi ho ya pajama? Behan de takke itni raat ko ek akeli ladki ko yu be-sahara chodo gay?" she questioned with pleading eyes.

"FINE I will tell my driver to drop you! as long you promise to never show me your ugly face ever again."

"UGLY? UH?" but before Khushi continued she thought it best to keep quite as she needed the car ride.

"Fine! Good bye!" and with that she exited the apartment. Arnav took a deep breath seeing her leave the room. He called up his driver to drop her off. Arnav fell back on his bed and grabbed his head. He had never had a more eventful night.

But Arnav relief did not last for long as soon he remembered LAVANYA?

"Where is Lavanya?" and with that thought he reached for his phone and started dialing her number'.

Khushi woke up to see that it was 7am on the clock. She began to panic as she realized she was late. She jumped into the shower and got ready. Neha had prepared some breakfast and Khushi quickly finished up and they both started for the office. Neha had been working with AR for the last two years and Khushi was lucky to have ended up with an internship there due to Neha. She realized what this opportunity meant for her and she did not want anything to go wrong.

They both made it to office just in time.

"Khushi just wait here till sir comes in and then you can see him. And please Khushi don't do anything mad out boss is really grumpy" Neha instructed Khushi before she settled in her cubicle.

Khushi sat down at the waiting area and anxiously began to fiddle with the folds of her cotton dress. She kept looking at the people walking left and right and she enjoyed the site before her. Mumbai was so much different from Jammu, the commotion, and the hustle. Everyone seems to have a purpose and here she could see all her life goals coming true. Tired of waiting Khushi got up and walked up to the coffee machine and poured herself a cup. She turned around to settle in her seat again but instead she bummed into someone. She looked up to apologize'

"I am so sorry"

"TUM!!!!!!!!!!"

"CHADI MAN?"

"WHAT THE?" said Arnav shock to see the mad girl before him. Khushi tried to wipe the coffee of his blazer but Arnav moved back almost terrified of her after last night.

"Just Stay away from me and what are you doing here?"

"OH! I am doing my internship here for the summer didn't I tell you last night. That is why I came here from Jammu." said Khushi in a proud tone in here attempt to impress him.

"Wait what are you doing here? Do you work here?"
"Uh! Yeah I guess'" But before Arnav could finish she cut him off

"So is it really true what they say?"
"What do they say" asked a clueless Arnav

"That the boss is really you know Sadu and boring." Whispered Khushi close to his ear.

Arnav stunned and infuriated at this girl's gut tried to keep his cool.

"Well I guess you will find out for yourself Ms?"

"Khushi Kumari Gupta" said Khushi taking out her hand for a shake.

Arnav Shook her hand and started towards his cabin and he called in his secretary.

"Send up the new intern who is here for the interview." and he opened up his laptop and started some work.

Sometime later...

"May I come in sir" asked Khushi knocking on the door.

"Yes Ms. Gupta comes in"

Khushi was excited to see the familiar face again.

"So am I going to be working with you?

OH! I am so glad I don't have to meet the Sadu boss? And Look I never got to thank you properly for last night for the car ride."

"Well that's great! May I ask who had done your pre-posting interview?"

"Oh! Yes it was Mr. Akash Singh'"

Arnav Picked up his phone and called in Akash who walked in a few minutes later.

"Yes Bhai!" he said coming inside

"Akash come in and meet Ms Gupta apparently you had done her internship interview."

"Oh! I remember you!" said Akash smilingly.

Khushi got up for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you Khushi so looks like you have already impressed your boss."

"No I actually haven't met your grumpy boss I am going to be working with Mr. handsome over here" said Khushi pointing towards Arnav.

"NO! Khushi you were interviewed to intern with Bhai' Arnav Singh Raizada the CEO of AR designs." said Akash pointing towards Arnav.

"Arnav Singh Raizada?" Stuttered Khushi in disbelief.

Arnav got up from his chair and walked up towards her'

"Yes, Arnav Singh Raizada, or should I say your new Sadu Boss Ms. Gupta or Chaddi man?"

"SHIT! meri to kismant hi kharab hai" was all Khushi could manage before she realized that she was probably going to be fired on the first day of her job.
