I cannot get enough of this song. So I decided to write an OS to it. Please just listen to the song for the first minute and DON'T read the story until you get to the end of the line " Hear my heart burst again. The effect will be worth while. I am posting a picture of the setting where this story takes place to give you an idea. I have never written an OS before so I am not even sure if this is the right format.
Oh and any writing in colour is a flash back.
READ , REVIEW, COMMENT & LIKE.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK
LOVE SASAK

SKYFALL
This is the end?
Hold your breath and count to ten?
Feel the earth move and then?
Hear my heart burst again
" Pull the damn trigger..."
Arnav stood at the precipice; flirting with the edge.
" If you are going to do it. Then do it!"
As an experienced marksman he had no patience for indecision. She hesitated and drank in the image if the man in front of her. He stood but a few feet from her, turned out in grey woolen dress pants and a white oxford shirt; the sleeves rolled up to his elbows revealing muscular and sinewy forearms. The wind howled, molding cloth to skin; his hair flying away with the wind as the excess material fluttered against him. The afternoon sun kissed the horizon bathing him in the afterglow; her eyes narrowed to adjust. Abdominal muscles were defined against material that clung to his every contour. Those contours that she had come to know so well; those contours that she had spent countless nights exploring and discovering. She finally let her eyes rest on his face.
His eyes were hard. His Jaw was set. He was ready.
" I have never seen you look more attractive then you do now..." she drawled.
" Cut the crap. We both know what has to happen. So pull the damn trigger..."
Arnav trailed off as he caught glimpse of her trembling hands; he had been trained to do this from birth. She was but a novice.
Suddenly he realized that for the first time, since he had met her, he had the upper hand. He grinned sardonically.
"Rookie mistake Khushi. You fell in love with the target..."
Skyfall is where we start?
A thousand miles and poles apart?
When worlds collide, and days are dark?
You may have my number, you can take my name?
But you'll never have my heart
The wind continued to wail; the sound of a hundred haunted souls. Both refused to look away; a battle of wills.
I will always be able to tell what is in this heart of yours, Arnav. All I have to do is look in to your eyes.
She looked in his traitorous eyes. Today they were unreadable...Arnav had left long ago. In his place was an empty shell of a man.
Khushi stood in front of him dressed from head to toe in black; her hair in a high pony tail that was currently flying to the side of her head. Extended and pointed toward his heart, she held in her hand a Walther P99 with its Q silencer end. At least it would be quick.
She looked down almost ashamed... "No Arnav...that was you" she whispered.
By looking down Khushi had given him he option to run. In the time she had looked down he would have been able to disarm and overpower her. Arnav stared right at her, refusing to move; this was an intentional move on her part. She had chosen this path...he wasn't going to make it easy on her now.
Khushi braced herself for the impact but it never came. Looking up she noticed Arnav determinedly standing his ground; her green and gold eyes widening momentarily in surprise.
In those few moments they had once again become just Arnav and Khushi. Memories flashed before them; of stolen glances, of lingering touches, of feelings of anticipation...
"I don't mean to hurt you Khushi.."
"It's not about right or wrong. It's about belief..."
" I hope this doesn't make a difference to you..."
" I would do anything for my family..."
" I love you Khushi..."
Arnav's eyes fluttered shut and he gathered his courage. He wouldn't beg...
"Don't be a coward Khushi..finish what you started" he whispered.
It was now or never.
The sun had set and with it the warmth that had so briefly reflected in her eyes.
This is for you Amma. This is for both you.
She steeled herself and without warning cocked the hammer and pulled the trigger.
Arnav's eyes momentarily widened despite knowing his fate all along. The pointed piece of metal hurtled out of the barrel at tremendous speed parting the air with a loud crack. Khushi stumbled back from the force. By the time Arnav had shut his eyes the bullet had pierced him; a direct shot to the heart. The force threw him back over the edge; freefalling down to great depths.
Khushi stood paralysed as a lone tear fell from her eye.
Let the sky fall, when it crumbles?
We will stand tall?
Face it all together?
At skyfall
