Welcome was a fail at comedy IMO. I couldn't even finish the movie the first time I tried to watch it... I can't digest forceful comedies and same goes with Housefull series. So lame..

These days comedy movies are just bad in Bollywood. Ready, Action Replay, De Dana Dan etc🥱 The last one I liked was 3 idiots but really Bollywood needs more good comedy films!

Well guess what if Ra.one, Bodyguard, Ready, Housefull 2 can make 100cr then Welcome can too😆 It was at least better than these movies🥱

I liked Action replay. Loved Akshay in the movie. he tries something different.

Ash too.

And the people who saw the movie mostly liked it going by their reviews.

I was pretty surprised when it bombed.

Re Kats media savvy ness nah she is zero.

She just has a down to earth way of looking at things and that comes

out in the way she speaks. what little the media get out of her.

There was a time when she used to come on NDTV and do lovely photo spreads

and all but she has withdrawn into a shell. The photos the magazines use for

her once in a blue moon interviews also are all taken from her ads and years

old photo shoots.

One would think such a beautiful girl would make most of her looks and pose

like crazy but she is so not bothered and unwilling to go the length.

This is not good for her fans in a way tho it is her wish as a person. If youre in

a business like entertainment and youre doing well because of your fans and

not because of PR and media you still should try and give the fans something

back and reach out to them some of the time rather than behaving like a

nun or hermit in retreat.

I think Katrina is intelligent/practical about films, and about herself, and about the things she can do and cannot do. Most of her film choices are good, in that she picks films that are mostly commercial, and people expect the heroine to be pretty and ornamental. Within that frame, she does push herself now and then, as in Rajneeti or Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, which really was more her film than of the 2 heroes.

Welcome was one of the best comedies in Bollywood. I have seen it so many times and still I enjoy it! This article shows how intelligent and down-to-earth Kat is! Whenever I read her articles it makes me feel good to be a fan of someone like her :)
