Hello everyone'welcome to the "IPK junkies" thread. Will just be posting a few thoughts on today's episode. Everyone is welcome to join in with their thoughts, please just be mindful, the posts are related to IPK, the serial and its characters and not personal attacks on any of the IPK crew. Thanks! Here goes'

well'I didnt quite like the episode today and the sole reason for it was 15 odd min of shyam hamming in a 20 min episode is a bit much for me even though i know these r most likely his final goodbye days😕

that having been said'.amazing bro- sis scene'really loved the emotions of ASR when he is trying to declare to his sis his love for her and the feelings of a bro meaning to protect his sis from all the harm'..anjali's "ho hi nahi sakta" repeated probably thrice was a great touch'..loved it'tho didnt care much for asr's oft repeated sentence"di aap mere liye sabse pehle ho"'i for one..get it n would love to do away with this sentence totally'but newaz'not a major peeve'so it is ok'.

after expressing the sister's emotions so beautifully 'anjali totally screwed it up by giving her bro's hard earned money to shyam trying to protect his financial status'.wth was that'.totally the script's fault imo'they could have shown it in any other way than this'it just spoiled the love she had expressed for her bro minutes away'

as far as shyam is concerned, i really feel he has started to over act a lot'too much of hand thru hair movements'.i loved his acting when it was understated'.somehow he really portrayed evil the best that way'.

felt really sorry for akash and payal who were romancing in the background(hazy too..courtesy biraj) while mami asks arnav for his help'.

loved arnav khushi's convo'..they have moved so far in their relationship'.cant wait for some more tension free romantic moments between them'.

Nice and honest post yaar! Loved reading it...and good job 👍🏼

Today's episode was a mixed bag for me.

While I like Arnav and Anjali's bonding, I think they go overboard with it sometimes...from Anjali's side that is. I find it a bit unsettling to see her clinginess with him...her dialogue that he will always stay with him and he will always take care of her or something like that sounded a bit odd to me.

So now after Shyam is gone, is she going to stick to Arhi like glue?

Sorry, but I watch this serial only for Arhi and their love story and I get peeved when Anjali's whining gets in the way.

I seriously hope they show Anjali becoming a strong woman and independent...not the clingy whiny sister, who instead of supporting her brother, saps his strength!

This is a good chance to show her beginning to work for AR industries (ie if it is still working...LOL)

And maybe later introduce a new guy for her.

But they really need to spruce up her character and make her stronger.

I loved Anjali in the older episodes of IPK, when she was the loving doting sister - the one who was always concerned about her brother's happiness.

Somehow, after the Di ki Saut track Anjali's character has been turned into a mass of contradictions.

Anyway...I normally like Abhaas Mehta a lot...but he too does go overboard in his acting sometimes and today it seemed a bit like that.

I cannot wait to see his true face being revealed in front of everyone...

But...I also wanted Arnav and KHushi's suffering at his hands to be addressed as well!

I mean he kidnapped Arnav and nearly killed him, harassed and troubled Khushi so much...what about all that?!

Anjali should be shown realizing how selfish she has been in neglecting her brother and his wife's suffering due to Shyam as well - its not just about her being cheated..this man has caused misery and harm to others as well.

And now I truly want to see a post marriage romance track for Arhi...with focus on them.

ANother thing - like you mentioned, why were Payash thrown in the background?!! They are severely neglected...why can't they show their romantic moments simultaneously, like they did during the Nainital track?

shwetz 🤗 right back at ya…ohhh…did i miss these emoticons or what😛..totally agree about her clingy behaviour…i guess we r just stuck with it….i really really hope they do something different with anjali after the revelation like maybe a career woman or something…atleast trying n being strong…im so sick of those anjali on bed scenes with every imaginable person surrounding her n molly coddling herwe echo the same thought on shyam and payash…..lets c maybe this shyam ouster will be for the best…usually it is not…he is the stupid cupid..isnt he….but now it is time for him 2 go…..i still cant believe they r letting shyam go forever…..i thought his character is the most loved character by the makers….well…who knows…maybe he will be abck after all….

Things I liked today:

*Arnav-Anjaili conversation.

*Shyam going bizzare...as much as I hate him...it's good to see him suffering.

*Color of Payal's saree. She looked good.

*The decoration.

Things I didn't like:

Still focus is not on the newly weds or their romance. I know timing is not right but I miss that part.

The episode was quite boring again because I don't like too much focus on other characters.

Akash or Payal is not part of the plan. Why? I understand Akash was not convinced Shyam could do what he did. But, why not Payal?

Arnav/Khushi isharo mein baatein getting repeatative and also shoulder grabbing. New ideas are welcome.

Can't wait till the track to end and get onto the next one.

israt…i loved the decor as well….n yeah nk's popularity hasnt been too good for akash n payal combo….they shd be part of the plan…..but they r just conveniently ignored…..lets c kab tak they keep doing that…if they have made payal stay they must have told her they will make her stay worth the while...

IPK junkies, I love it!!

Tonight's episode was a filler, a slow start to the week in which they used this epi to build up the upcoming exposing of Shyam. It wasn't bad but didn't pack the punch the others did last week, nevertheless there were some scenes I liked.

I liked the scene with Arnav, Khushi and Anjali. I felt bad for both as neither want to hurt Anjali but it is something that needs to be done and Anjali needs to know these two love her and have her best interests at heart

I absolutely hated the scene where Anjali gave Shyam money, seriously?? Bright side to this is the fact he will soon be out of RM thank goodness! Now Arnav's hard earned money won't go in his hands anymore.

I loved the ending, the sound of a baby crying and driving Shyam crazy was a thrill to watch!!

Looking forward to the next episode based on what I saw on SBB and SBS. I completely understand why it is NK acting as Shyam and not Arnav, think about it Arnav can hardly stand the sight of Shyam so for him to act as him would make his blood boil!

Phew! I thought I was the only one who got bored with today's episode!

I hope they do not show Anjali moping around and the whole family doing her seva for a week!

I hope they show her being strong this time...and not going down the route she did when the first time Shyam's reality had come out.

It would be refreshing to see Anjali being the one to kick Shyam out and telling her family to stop treating her like a terminally ill patient.

Hi everyone, feels so good to post here and touch base with everyone😃, have missed you guys..
Today was OK, laying the foundation for the week ahead. I liked the Arnav-Anjali scene. Barun was really good in the scene, i love how he brings out the emotions without making it OTT dramatic.
Priyanka i agree with you on the "aapki khushi mere liye subse important hai" dialogue. Once it was ok; he did not have to repeat it 10 times, we get it dude you love your sister and all your and Khushi's actions are DKL. I loved the Arnav, Khushi, Anjali group hug and the understanding look ARHI exchanged❤️.
Anjali continues to annoy me; i was just warming up to her after her conversation with Arnav when she ruined the moment when she gave Shyam the check. So she thinks Shyam works hard for his money but does not respect Arnav who has lost his youth trying to build a successful business and provide for his family, what kind of a woman not only lives off her brother but has no qualms spending it without a second thought😡.
While i love how Arnav and Khushi's relationship has progressed where they understand each others unspoken words, stand by and comfort the other at all times; i would really like to see some passion and romance. As much as i would like the Shyam revelation to be out in the open; I'm hoping for some stress free ARHI romance and not for Anjali hogging the limelight and ARHI concentrating all their energies trying to bring her out of her depression.
I completely agree with Shweta and hope that Shyam is brought to justice for everything he did to Khushi and her family and to Arnav during the kidnapping. Hope all that is not swept under the rug. Looking forward to Shyam getting slapped, hopefully being thrown out to for good, for Anjali growing strong and of course for a ton of passionate, uninterrupted romantic moments😃

mandy…i also cant imagine asr play acting as shyam…it wouldnt have gone with his character at all

The Scream, Edvard MunchThis painting instantly came into mind when watching the final few minutes of the episode.Shyam covering his face and ears as a baby's cries reverberate around him. Abhaas was a bit over the top for me here, but I loved how Kushi's plan is working. Shyam is nearing the end of his freeloading days! 😉

Shyam is strongest when in defense mode. He is able to fend off attacks from all sides through his ability to logically and "charmingly" fend off questions, arguments, and accusations from others. We all saw this during the confrontation after the kidnapping. So, Kushi's plan is brilliant...she is not going to confront him at all. She is gonna have him confront himself...she has thrown him off kilter with the blank calls, glass, baby cries, pseudo electric shock. He is unstable and it is now that the attack will happen. Without saying a direct word to him, she is gonna have him spill the beans himself. Brilliant 👏

Cannot wait to see it unfold tomorrow

Love the way the "calm before the storm" is being portrayed. Arnav asking and giving raksha to Di. Kushi's nervousness. NK's resolve. Great!

Also loved how Akash gave a flower/rose to Payal..very sweetly done. We would love to see more! Is this a sign of things to come?? Once the confrontation happens, would love Akash and Payal to be shown supporting Di/Arnav/Kushi. Will be back here in awhile. Just thought I would show the inaugral IPK Junkie spot some lau! ⭐️
