Sonakshi Sinha who so far has gained a lot of attention for her work in Masala movies. She has played a typical Bhartiya Nari in her movies so far.

Dabangg - Salman Khan

Rowdy Rathore - Akshay Kumar

Joker - Akshay Kumar

Son Of Sardar - Ajay Devgn

Dabangg 2 - Salman Khan

Will 2013 bring a change for her with more serious movies? Are we going to see her in more powerful roles? Will she prove herself as a versatile actress?

Her movies set to release in 2013

Namak - with Shahid Kapoor. Action (not masala as stated by Prabhudeva) movie directed by Prabhudeva (Wanted & Rowdy Rathore). Sonakshi will be seen action sequences.

Lootera - with Ranveer Singh. Romantic/Drama movie directed by Vikramaditya Motwane (assistant director of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam & Devdas, Director of Udaan). Sonakshi's playing a Bengali girl. Produced by Balaji productions.

Once Upon A Time Again - with Imran Khan. Crime/Thriller movie directed by Milan Luthria (The Dirty Picture/Once Upon A Time In Mumbai). Playing a role of an Actress who has link ups with an Underworld Don.

Bullet Raja - with Saif Ali Khan. Crime/Action film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia (Paan Singh Tomar, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangstar, Charas and writer for Dil Se).

With all these interesting projects. Do you think Sonakshi will prove her acting ability well???

I can't wait to see her in these roles. Even though I love her in Masala films (except Joker), but she gets limited screen time.

Will 2013 be her year to shine???

its useless to expect any thing from namak. Any thing opposite shahid kapoor is a guaranteed flop. Sonakshi cant ensure opening opposite flop actors like shahid, she needs stars!

It's a Prabhudeva film. He will make sure it is at it's best.

Once Upon A Time Again and Bullet Raja sounds interesting. Bullet Raja will be on same page as Omkara while OUATA will be similar to the first one but bit better as Sonali is making her comeback.
