I have always loved Ahem...he made me watch Saathiya...although I enjoyed all the eyelocks but I craved for ahem to behave like Gopi is his...why just stare at your wife? ...I like the way his character has changed he is more humane ..more normal...he did get all passionate in that rain scene ..but Gopi became vewy shy...he realised this and has been since then trying to get her more comfortable more assured about their relationship...and it is working...she is so much more confident...hugs him on her own...I love their hugs...they seem to feel and know exactly what the other is feeling...
I love to see ahem teasing specially in that salwar scene...but I O absolutely adore the mature understanding Ahem who is now living the relationship not only for his own needs and desires but to make his Gopi a happier person.

I don't watch this show anymore but sometimes I come across some scenes when flicking channels. So I stop and look for the old saathiya but after few minutes I just move on. Because romance or hunky ahem is dead. Gia and nazim brought this show to where it was be ause of their chemistry now romance is dead but I guess people like the modi parivaar. New gopi will never cut it for me because I still think she is a very poor actor.

To avoid any confusion, I will clarify that i am referring just to the character of Ahem and not the actresses portraying Gopi. I think the Ahem from the education track started getting to know the kind of person Gopi really is and started liking her and then the next phase was him getting attracted to her leading till the Holi track. That is why we had all those sensual eyelocks. However as he realized that he has fallen in love with her, along with that came the guilt of being cruel to her in their early days of marriage. I think that is the reason he holds himself back. He is forever afraid of hurting her, you can sense his hesitation. I think once Gopi helps him in overcoming his guilt he will show his passionate side too 😉..Gopi too hesitates which means she still hasnt forgotten their dark past completely along with her sad childhood..its only now that she manages to talk to him confidently, i think earlier she never spoke unless he asked her something..they both need to come out of the shadows of their past...
