You guys have so much fun during your festivals. The only thing we gotta look forward to is praying, cooking, cooking, more cooking and sitting with relatives. No parties, no dancing, no singing, no fun. 🤢

Have fun during Navratri guys. 😃

Navrathri at my place is pretty different. We do not have Garba's but do visit neighbors and invite them home for some singing and pooja. It is fun as it gives us a chance to get to know one another and break the ice if one is new to the area. 😃

In my place, we don't do garba.. Generally the last 4 days of Navratri are celebrated amongst the Bengalees along with the Dusshera.. So, we have fun only in the last 4 days..

But the excitement starts one month before the Durga pooja days.. 😛

Well. If you look at Eid in the UK it is quite a different affair. First the confusion as to when Eid is and then the mad rush to get things organised. For all the Eid's I have seen I have not seen any dancing. singing or having a fun time whatsoever. Maybe it is just where I am. Other members may celebrate it differently.

insteading of joining CA class, u have joined Garba class.do u have paper on garba.😆I think I worry more for your exam then u worry for yours.🤪😆😆
but u r good at dancing.why u joined then?well I dont dance good.I always become conscious like Naazim. So I do less garba but watch it.We have maha aarti on ashtami and Ravan on dussehra and then ofcourse fafda-jalebi are for sure on dussehra. Before marriage we used to go for darshan in nearby durgapuja pandal.girls in Gujarat plays and are on the road on 2wheelers till late night without any fear.So nashabandhi works here.sorry change the subject.

i'm only going to attend garba on durga ashtami because mum wants to and plus she been mentally ill otherwise I had no intention of attending this year. I just dont enjoy attending this at the local mandir anymore. I don't know maybe i have grown out it or it just make my anxiety worse in loud crowded areas.

So true Eid in the Uk is a nightmare and the worse one is to know when's Eid ul Fitr
