Biggest issues with IPKKND?

Guys,

• Not closing any one track and beginning new ones. In other serials, one track completes and then new track starts. They start prep of the next track along with ending one track but its usually cleanly done. In IPKKND, there are too many loopholes left out because of this. Normal people who watch TV dont worship the show and memorize each and everything that happened. With so many tracks, they get confused.

• They are not ready to spend money required for a show. They started telling the story of a super-rich tycoon, a fashion house owner renowned across the world, who worked 24*7. Now the tycoon is neither rich nor fashion-conscious and nor workaholic. In the beginning he was a tycoon getting off a helicopter. Now, his wife is wearing such poor clothes. In the beginning, he used to go to office everyday. Now, he just sits at home typing on his laptop. In the beginning he owned a fashion house. Now, if he has to buy a saree for his wife, he has to call a website call centre to order it. When they came up with the concept of IPKKND, they must have known that by showing a superrich hero they will have to have a big bugdet for clothes, etc. I feel somewhere down the line they just became a biiig KANJOOS. There is another show where a rich superstar is shown to forcibly marry a girl. After the wedding, he tells her to wear a new dress every day and then throw it away because his status will be judged by public from her clothes. And really, I have not seen the actress repeat any single dress. The bathroom in the sister show was so nice.

• They keep contradicting what they had previously shown and assume that viewers won't notice. Earlier, the house that Bualji lived in was her own. It was built by Foofaji with lots of love. Some time later, they showed that it was rented. Did FoofaJi make a house for the home-owner so that he can rent it? They showed Arnav's Mom Bangles and letter as if it was very important. And, now noone remembers them?

• Characters keep disappearing. If someone from the actors decides to leave the show, its understandable. You can show a small track showing where they are going and why. Or if the character is someone important, then just get someone else for the role. In IPKKND, people keep disappearing. The only thing done to handle it is just ignore the character completely. First Laxmi disappeared, Naniji seems to have forgotten she had a goat who she couldn't live without. Then Mamaji disappeared, Mamiji seems to have forgotten she had a husband. Yes, we hated Masala Mama. But he could have been shown as going back instead of just disappearing. Prakash brothers keep changing. God knows how they will ignore Payal's disappearance.

• No promotion. For god's sake, the leads of the show consummated and got married without any proper promotion.

Totally agree too many inconsistencies plot just jumps over all the place without issues being fully resolved, too many loopholes

Completely agree with you and feel like nothing will change and one day the show will stop airing without getting the due /potential accolades it should get or rather deserved!!..too sad

Yeah! I think their biggest problem is plot loopholes and completely ignoring characters. I can understand if tey don't have budget to ake things look spiffy as before! But, the many loopholes and missing characters really takes away from the charm of the show! I don't know about before..as I started watching regularly starting Jan..but since holi episodes..the loopholes are just too many!

• For me the biggest problem with the show is " NO PROMOTION"..even shows like Saath Nibhana Sathiya, Ye rishta kya kehlata hain...etc have very catchy promos even if the storyline is absurd!! Whereas in IPKKND we have one of the hottest pair and a smart storyline...but all in vain without proper and exciting promos!!!!
  

• Secondly, all the tracks are ending very abruptly...one of the recent example: Dadi's exit (there was no scene and suddenly after their marriage, she disappeared!)

• Lastly very repetitive dresses for Sanaya and Barun 😡. They are the leads and specially for Sanaya - the dresses are very boring and repetitive!! Sanaya also needs a makeover desperately, specially her hairstyle!! The PH is very lucky to have such good looking leads and they still manages to look good in those boring dresses!!
