Dadisa will never become a villain. She is the most balanced character after she changed from an autocratic matriarch to a doting mother. I had also said before that she has her head and her heart in perfect balance. Moreover,she has come too far with Shiv-Anandi affair. She knows what is expected of her and she is not the one who will change course with momentary flow of weakness.
It is only natural for a grandma to feel for her grandson. She had a binding for her Jagdish and that will remain. It is expected that at some point of the time,she would pine for her grandson and while looking at Shiv and Anandi together,she would have thought of her Jagdish in place of Shiv.
All these could have come true,had everything gone according to her wish.
But,hers is a classic case of "man proposes ,God disposes". Things did not turn out as she wished. Her Jagdish is no longer the husband of her Anandi, her Jagdish cannot enter the haveli for all that he did.She understands this. She acknowledges this.
But,after all,it is the heart of a Dadisa. She will always cry for a grandson she so wished to have,which,Jagdish could never become. She,probably,all along wanted a grandson like Shiv. Or she had once dreamt that her Jagdish was like Shiv. So many things could have happened,yet so many things went out of hand.
I,sometimes,feel sorry for her. She has to honour the word that she had given to Bhairon. She has to stand by her Anandi. She made it very clear to Jagya when she spoke to him in the hospital.
But,we always do not go by what our heads say,sometimes our hearts come into play. This deals with human emotions,had we been able to discard emotions, we could have saved ourselves from a lot of pain,but, in that case,we would have become like machines.
And we certainly would not have liked it.
Despite everything,I believe, Dadisa will stand true to her words.
I have seen it in my mother. She always protects my bro's children from my bhabhi's spanks if they are naughty,though she knows they were wrong. She gives such a sweet smile and then bhabhi returns the smile as well!!đ
