Hello my dear fans!! I am Shaleen Malhotra whom people know as ACP Arjun Suryakant Raute from Star Plus' ongoing show Arjun.
Born and raised in Delhi, I completed my schooling and college there. My family is stationed in the capital city. Right now, I stay in Mumbai with a few friends of mine. Mumbai has been very lucky for me and I am enjoying my stay here. It's not that Delhi is not close to my heart; I miss the city a lot.
I I always wanted to be on television and it was my grandfather's dream to see me perform. Now… if he would have been alive I am sure he would have been very proud of me.
On the personal front, I am a typical Delhiite. I am a hardcore adventurous person and have travelled all around the world on my bike. Other than that I unwind myself by reading books and autobiographies. I also like to chill around with my friends. I have few friends from the television world who are very close to me namely Karan Wahi, Vishal Karwal, Kishwer Merchant and Suyash Kumar.
Talking of my career, I was selected as one of the contestants of MTV Roadies season. The show gave me recognition and fame. I have been on-ground VJ with MTV India for four years and have also hosted the auditions of MTV Roadies 9.
I made a debut on Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta as Varun. Currently, I am playing tough cop as ACP Arjun Suryakant Raute in Star Plus' Arjun. I took up this opportunity because this role was a very challenging one. Before taking up the project, I attended an acting workshop and also took training in martial arts and kickboxing.
I think my journey till now has been an adventurous one and also a little unfortunate. But, I have always been a fighter and have never given up in life. Whatever I have achieved till now is all because of the Almighty's blessings along with those of my parents and well-wishers.
Finally, I thank you all for being with me. I would want you to keep supporting me in the years to come.
