i sorry a lot of people think the Sugni and her mother are being manipulative. but what choice did Vikram give Sugni. let me explain the way i see perseive it. sugni finds out that vikram lied to her about his wife, she is still alive, so she cant marry him, and now she does not want to marry him because she will become the womam that stole another womans husband. thus increasing the sitgma on her community. she did her sirr dhaki, to get away from vikram. but he just kept bidding higher than the other Thakur.
Aditya did the only think he could do at that time to stop Vikram for bidding for her. he made a bogus deal with vikram. if vikram had done sugni dhaki then she would be his to do as he pleased. he may have married her or he may have not. but she would always be the other woman and whats to say once a man has had what he wants, he would still be intreasted in the her.
even if sugni would break all ties to the place they are living in and left with her mother. vikram would follow them and bring her back.
love is love when it is nurtring but when that same love becomes an obcession, in becomes something to fear.
by marrying aditya sugni is changing her relationship with vikram. Aditya is nephue to vikram, so sugni will become his niece by marriage. the dinamics of the relationship will change. putting sugni out of his reach.
besides sugni was not the one to lie to ma thakur, Aditya did. for obvious reasons,
what do you think will happen when ma thakur comes to know that sugni is a bedni, and vikram want's to leave his wife to marry the same girl. will she accept sugni then after she is responsiable for a broken marriage of her son, wont it reinforce her beliffs that the bedni women are nothing but homebreakers. and nachanavalies that prey on rich thakurs.
Aditya and Sugni may not love each other, but they understand each other, and even respect each other. what they are doing is for their family's happiness. so that vikram may give his marriage to reva a chance.. and the Bedni are not only seen as homebreakers.
beside its not only gulabya that wants sugni to marry Aditya, reva too want sugni to marry aditya. and adityas mom doesnt seem to be protesting too much either.
and i doubt amrita is commin back. and even if she does would she want aditya after knowing he has done sugni dhaki. doubt it. and that they are doing this to save vikram and reva's marriage. i have a feeling she would support them and wish them luck.
someday the truth will come out that sugni is a bedni, but when the bigger truth of why Aditya is marrying sugni comes out , even ma thakur would accept that Aditya sugni marriage would be better for the family. and vikram breaking his marriage to reva to marry sugni would be unacceptable to her.
