Who will host Nach Baliye 2?

Even though the judges and the lineup of the 10 jodis for Nach Baliye 2 have been announced, there still remains a huge question mark on who will host the show this year.
The fact that Star One hasn't yet made an official announcement shows that the channel is still working out a strategy.

However, a source working on the show reveals that Sangeeta Ghosh and Shabbir Ahluwalia will probably be brought back in season two. "We are still working out the format for the hosts, but Sangeeta and Shabbir will definitely be on the show. Apart from them, we have also approached Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar (last year's winners) to be a part of Nach Baliye 2."
Meanwhile, another story doing the rounds is that each of the ten couples from the first season will be invited to host a segment.
"We have spoken to the jodis and each one of them will be seen on the show in various segments. The only couple that won't be a part of the show this year is Archana and Parmeet Sethi, since they are hosting another dance competition (Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Sony)."
No official invite
When we spoke to Supriya Pilgaonkar, said she wasn't aware about the offer to host from Star One. "I won't be able to host the show. Both Sachin and I are busy doing our own stuff. At the moment there has been no official invitation from the channel to either host it or do anything else," she said.
Meanwhile, Sangeeta sounded jubilant about hosting the show for the second time. She said, "It's like coming home for me. I'm really excited about hosting the show with Shabbir. Last year was so much fun and we all became one big family."
Shabbo ke sang
Sangeeta added that she didn't know any of the new participants personally, but said, "I haven't worked with any of them but I'm sure I'll get to know them better over the course of time."
While she didn't comment on the new format of the show front, the actress said the audience should be prepared for a couple of surprises. "We are planning to do certain things differently. The channel is working closely with us and there are some really nice surprises planned."
Ghosh is also excited to work with Shabbir again, who she fondly calls Shabbo. "He's one of the most chilled-out guys I have known. He's a pleasure to work with. Not only is he free of any hang-ups, but also great fun to be with. I can't wait to start shooting with him."
