bhabo is wrong

I disagree with you... The way bhabo lived her whole life its totally different from Sandy's... Ya... she is not an ideal saas but it will be so unrealistic if cvs show sudden change of bhabo... Suraj's family is the most traditional family among other star plus shows I guess... Even in other shows if some bahu risk their own lives like this saas will be tensed and scared na...?? Bhabo is proud of Sandy that she saved many lives today but she is always taking risks intentionally, bhabo wont welcome that... And not only bhabo I think even in many educated family its not excepted that bahus r doing challenging jobs as a police officer... So this is a very sensitive matter and cvs will take care of that step by step slowly... They cant show sudden change of anything which dont happen in real life...!!! People can not change suddenly...

She doen't want Sandhya to take risks all the time ...
she is stopping her she loves her because she doesn't want to loose her bahu..
she has grown in an environment where women are concerned only with household work.
So, she cannot take the fact so easily.

But I disagree with Bhabo's definition of an ideal bahu.
She thinks a bahu should only do household work, prepare food for the family. She need to change this mentality.

Remember she always wanted an uneducated bahu...
And it took lot of time for Bhabho to digest the truth that Sandhya was educated.


SOo, don't worry . I am sure Bhabho will change later & Sandhya will become an IPS officer.

And this show will surely help in improving the mentalities of people like Bhabo in our country.

Bhabo is not wrong if you take her point of view from the environment in which she has been brought up.The Rathis as Ayeshi pointed out are a traditional family.I do not think she discriminates between her Bahu and Chavvi. Remember she did not want Chavvi to study, but was compelled by Chavvi's in laws.Her fear is shown in the precap as well.She is not against Sandhya getting a bravery award per se.What she fears is the after effects.She knows in her subconscious mind, that it will lead to talk of Sandhya's higher education and eventually becoming a thanedarni.It is a reflection of that fear which makes her go to Sandhya's room at night and ask her to be Lakshmi not DURGA. If Bhabo is claimed to be intolerant to modern ideas of gender equality aren't we being intolerant in understanding her point of view.All human beings are shaped by the environment in which they grow. Bhabo is no different.Change takes time to happen and it will be shown to happen in DABH. HAVE PATIENCE. DABH CVs HAVE NEVER LET US DOWN, THIS TIME ALSO THEY WON'T.

Agree with what others have said. Its the environment in which bhabo has lived till now that has made her like this. It was her wish from the begining that she wanted a simple bahu who limit herself to house only. A sudden change in her thinking is not possible.
Leave aside bhabo, I think even sooraj will be in dilemma when sandhya will reveal her dream to him. We saw a glimpse of it in singapore when sooraj saw sandy in police dress. Bhabo is definitely going to change her thinking with time and this slow transition will be interesting to watch and it will be more effective in giving the message to public that even a conservative person like bhabo ultimately supports sandhya

Bhabo is not wrong, she is a bit conservative and so she doesn't want her DIL to take unnecessary risks. Bhabo changed a lot since her initial days, and after the WTC track, she is now very much fond of Sandhya. Also, she knows that without Sandhya her son will be mentally dead. That's the reason she said such things to Sandhya so that Sandhya takes less risks in future, and she & Suraj is saved from tensions & worries.

I agree with u...bhabo is wrong!!!! Even i get angry at her when she talks rudely to sandy or suraj!!!! Her heart is in the right place, but her mouth is very rude...

i too feel that bhabo is a bit conservative as she was brought up n that way...
