Now that you mentioned my mum is a psychiatrist, and I was telling her about this show whole detail...When I told her everything, she said RM siblings needs help. Actually she said Khushi needs help as well😆. Too bad maker of this show don't think so. When they don't take these characters to hospital in normal situation, then this is not even possible lol.
Then my mum said in the end, you are watching one messy show+ not well researched lol.
I have to admit this is actually my first show where they don't take people to hospital + other shock lol.

No he is not !!! but the same past made him today ASR were he saw his parents committed suicide bcoz of some other woman !!! he loves his mom a lot that past cant go that easily today he suffering he want to give up the past for khushi but the pasts till hurts him some kind of past cant leave our brain... Today he knew who the woman is he wants to forget the past & wants to live happily with khushi but his fate didnt allow him... Just hope he marries khushi full of love he knows she is not at fault he wont punish her for others mistake ...

what would you do if you come face to face with a person who is responsible for the death of your loved ones would kushi forget and forgive arnav suppose she comes to know that his father caushed the accident NO right... the same..give him some time and he had a n accident nobody seem to notice that there are many people in the world who are not perfect that doesnt mean you get them treatment...I am talking from personal experience...he has a troubled past and its her love which will heal him thats what the makers are telling us...if he had to get counsellled and everything becomes fine then there would be no IPK

Agreed Arnav cannae let go of the past. But I do have question. Arnav even as kid was shown as very very attached to his mother. He was so attached that he shattered the rose plant just because his mother got hurt. Now would this be LOVE or OBSESSION? So given that, one can easily conclude that his pain when his mom died because of his father's infidelity would have been 100 fold. Even ordinary people don' let go of the past. Agreed they don't let past rule them but it always, always influences them. Probably if it was anyone else it might have been different for Arnav, but since it was his mom who did not die a natural death its near impossible for him (but not quite).

I really liked your analysis buddy. the most important thing in his condition is that his psychological growth stopped when he lost his parents (he is not retarded), but he has lost the ability to relate things to the present because the base is as you said the past. He has built everything including his character on the basement of that . So, it is not that easy to come out of that easily. The main problem is like he could not respond well to that event (his parents' death) because of his other responsibilities towards the family, so now it has resulted in the form of PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder). Still he cannot respond to most of the things, he is very limited in that regard. Am i correct or not. Still he is tearful regarding his mom, that is because of the late response to that event. But see anjali, she is minimally responsive to that event when she remembers that. It is because she had responded well at that time. She is not that teary like arnav when she remembers them. Arnav cannot even remember them normally. See it is only with khushi he can do that comfortably. This itself shows how insecure still is he.
