Hi guys,
You're probably wondering what the hell the title of my thread means, right?
Well, I was randomly watching some of Anas's scenes from his first TV show, Kahiin To Hoga on YouTube (these scenes were nicely edited by Rumela, so well done by her!). Now, I have never seen this show before but I had read a little about it previously and I knew that Anas had played a character called Kartik Ahluwalia. And I had read that the character's voice had been dubbed by someone else, at least in the beginning (Anas said so in a recent article), so I was curious to see what it looked like to see Anas speak but to hear someone else's voice.
So imagine my surprise when I was watching these early KTH scenes of Anas's, and the lady in them with him called his character "Sooraj" instead of "Kartik"! At first I thought I must have gone mad and was hearing things 😕 (the effect of seeing him as Sooraj in DABH), but I watched more scenes and she was indeed actually calling him Sooraj. Then as I got to scenes further along in the story, I realised/understood that Anas's character Kartik had joined the lady's company to spy on them (which they had no idea about previously), and that he had told them that his name was "Sooraj" so that he could be undercover without them knowing who he really was!
How cool and amusing is it that Anas started out his TV career playing a character that was initially known as "Sooraj", and that he is now super famous world-wide for playing Sooraj in DABH!!! 👏 ⭐️ 👍🏼
A real-life indication of fate, me thinks! Things have certainly come full-circle for Anas in the "Sooraj" stakes - what a fantastic real-life foreshadowing to the name of the character that he would become most famous for, following all his hard work and dedication! This is the effect of DABH on me - I'm seeing loops and connections everywhere, and what a nice one this real-life "Sooraj loop" of Anas's is! 😊
(I bet those of you who used to watch KTH would already have known this, but for a newbie to it like me who had never actually watched it before, it was highly amusing!)
And for the record, it was strange hearing someone else's voice while seeing Anas speak! (although it does appear that they started to use Anas's voice for Kartik later on in the show).
