Children and TRPs!

After much research, I have discovered that all the top five TRP rankers have kids or pregnant women in them...

Diya Aur Baati Hum	6.0	5.3
Bade Acche Laggte Hain	4.7	3.9
Balika Vadhu	4.5	4.7
Saath Nibhana Saathiya	3.7	3.6
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai	3.4	3.4

The first one has a young boy working with the male lead...and the male lead's sister-in-law is pregnant ( at least she was till sometime ago...)...the second and the fifth have children of the leads...and the thrid and fourth one have pregnant leads ( okay in the third, the female lead's ex husband's illegitimate wife is pregnant 😆)

Special thanks to my mother for helping me with this research!


Hope TRP mata showers her blessings on our show too...


P.S - Just in case anyone misunderstands...I am not saying these shows are TRP earners only because they have children or pregnant women in them,,,,am only observing what is common to all of them,,,nothing more and nothing less!

Sonali, closeness dikhane se TRP nahi badti...we have seen that...romance ke saath story bhi toh chahiye...and I think this track has potentiall..baaki TRP mata ke oopar!

this track will work for sure...but essence of ktlk shud b dere...romance shud b dere..

I am sure Sujatha ji this child track will definately fetch TRP for our show . Not to worry about romance side coz a Child always brings couple more closure.
Right now we see little bit romance and then they go to sleep.
But now we may see more of Ashni scenes together looking after there adopted child.
So it's going to be very romantic.

Sarika...the purpose of the child is drama...and something that the show has not had in the past...so there will be a lot of freshness...and a child always brings a curiosity factor...in this case, who the child is, how she came to be with them,. who her parents are, what will happen to her...all this gives scope for drama...

And like you said, I don't think this will impact their romance...it will only bring them closer eventually!

Sujatha ji I have a feeling after few episodes , they may show the actual parent of that girl . It may happen that they will take that girl with them. And to fill up the vaccum in ther life Ashni go for there own child.
These drama's are often shown in shows.
