Tellychakkar.com was the first to report about Zee TV celebrating its completion of 20 years in grand style. October 2 2012, is the D-day when Zee TV which was launched in the year 1992 achieves this milestone. And to celebrate the occasion, Zee TV will have a three hour special event which will be shot on the sets of Punar Vivah (Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd).

We hear that the celebration will happen as part of Yash's (Gurmeet Choudhary) birthday party wherein the past and present faces who have been part of Zee TV's landmark journey over the years will be invited.

The channel is still finalizing the names of celebrities who will be gracing the event. As of now, the names that have been confirmed include Divyanka Tripathi who grabbed the limelight with the successful show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. Ratan Rajpoot whose portrayal of Laali in Zee TV's landmark show Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo will also be part of the celebration.

When contacted, Divyanka Tripathi confirmed the news saying, "Yes, Zee TV is celebrating the completion of 20 years with a special event, and I will be performing in it."

Ratan Rajpoot told us, "Well, talks are on but nothing has been confirmed yet as I am presently out of town."

Apart from this mega celebration on 2 October, Zee TV will also have live concerts across India called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Live, wherein artistes who have made a name for themselves through the channel's two biggest properties Sa Re Ga Ma Pa andDance India Dance will take part. The concerts will be held in Pune, Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Dehradun, Bhopal, Aurangabad, Kanpur all through October (2012).
