Times of india: Afsar Bitiya hits a double ton
Its celebration time for the cast and crew of Zee TV's Afsar Bitiya as the show completes 200 episodes today.
'Afsar Bitiya' which highlighted the trials and tribulations of the lead protagonist Krishna, who dreams of becoming a block development officer (BDO) grabbed many eyeballs.
Though the entire team of Afsar Bitiya is busy shooting back to back and has no time to party, they now plan to commemorate the occasion by throwing a huge bash over the weekend.
On the occasion, Mitali Nag who plays the lead Krishna, said, "In today's scenario it is very difficult to keep the audiences glued to the TV screens especially when daily soaps come and go off-air in a short span of time. But I am happy that we have been successful in entertaining viewers from past 200 episodes. We are trying our best to cater to each and every section of the society. I just hope and pray that we continue our successful run."
An elated Kinshuk Mahajan says, "I am very happy and I must say that all of us have worked as a team and I believe that is the root cause of the success. Our producer Mr. Raakesh Paswan is throwing a party on Friday (28 September 2012) and we are going to have a blast. I just wish that we keep on creating milestones like this. And to my fans please continue watching Afsar Bitiya as in the coming weeks there will be some good surprises."
