'I will fill her life with happiness'- The PROMISE

There has been lots of speculation about the secret promise...well here's another one. Many have thought that Jeevika may decide to leave the house but let's think logically. Would SWAMINI BUA ever agree to that? Yes she's angry but not angry enough to make Viren's life miserable and ofcourse it wouldn't help the khaandan ki izzat if the Bahu left like that. Secondly if Jeevika left the house, how would that compensate for the loss and the accusation SB threw at her? Fridays episode was mostly about how SB has an issue with JM's closeness so how does that involve Jeevika leaving Viren?

In yesterday's scene, Jeevika first promised her parents that she will fill Manvi's life with happiness but then she also points out the promise which she has made to SB. So why did she look at her wedding photo and remember the event in flashbacks? My guess is because it's to remind herself that she is a married woman and she had taken some vows and that she has a duty to fulfil as a wife & Bahu. If she was going to leave Virenji, wouldn't she have remembered her other memorable times with him? Why did she just remember the wedding? It was more of a reminder because SB's accusation of Jeevika only thinking about Manvi pricked her.

Not that this takes me any closer to what the promise is about but it definitely seems more Manvi related because she is promising to make her happy but possibly restricting her ways somehow.

hmm u may b right i dont think d promise was to leave vadhera house as swamz ki khand ki izaat wud get affected may be she wud try to distance herself from mannu dis wud b d biggest punishment of her liffe..

I feel that now Maanvi will be living in that house as the bahu...jeevika might have promised that they won't ignore their other relations for their bond...meaning they might not live their lives depending on each other totally...because Swamini's problem seems to be JeeMan bond...coz she was saying how sisters are only thinking about themselves and nothing else...So Jeevika might try to maintain a distance giving respect to the fact that they are married now and have their respective relations to worry about more...😕

I agree with you Reema. Some would say that the promise is leading the serial into a typical saas-bahu direction but believe it or not, the curiousness inside me regarding the promise is eating me up! The first thought that came to my mind was that maybe Jeevika would leave Viren and try to get him married to someone else (which is totally crazy). I thought this is why she looked at Viren's photo but after that when she mentioned the promise she had made for Maanvi I realized that Maanvi would have to have something to do with Jeevika's promise to SB otherwise she would not have been mentioned at that moment. But seeing that Jeevika looked at her marriage photo as well says that both Viren and Maanvi have something to do with it all.

Hmmm saachi vaat che!! I hope the promise ain't anything phuskuuu cos we're all thinking so hard on what it can and can't be 🤣
