Should audience votes be audited and declared?

In JDJ, 50% of the weightage is given to the points given by the Judges and 50% of the weightage is with the audience. Now we know the judges' scores as they are declared, but what about the audience votes?

According to me audiences' votes should not only be declared but also audited by a neutral agency.

Some reasons behind the same are:
  • Audience that cast their votes shell out from their hard earned money. They spend both their time and money and thus have a right to know.
  • Channels may have their favorites and may be involved in vote manipulation for TRPs. This will bring in more transparency.
  • Contestant also vote for themselves. They should not feel cheated.
  • Contestants and their fans may know exactly how many votes need to be cast for the next episodes.
The reason I came up with this idea is that I feel confidently that when Isha and Salman got 60/60 in one week and did not perform in the next week thereby getting a 0/60 and thus getting a 60/120. Now she had already got some/many votes in the previous week, so according to Mathematics (based on the scores of other contestants), she should have got at least 300% more votes than the other contestants (individually) to avoid the bottom two, which is highly improbable. Only if the channel had declared how many votes, it would have been more transparent,

It should be made a norm that all reality shows who ask for audience votes (whether paid/free), should disclose the details of the votes. For eg. how many online votes, idea, airtel, bsnl, mtnl, etc.

Do you agree with me?

I think in the case of Isha, the producers probably would have prorated her scores to make things fair, i.e. counted her dance scores as 25%, votes as 50% and totaled everything out of 75 and not 100 to get a fair percentage.
