*|| Virat Weds Maanvi: 13 October 2012 ||*

Virat and Maanvi. It's more difficult than one can imagine to put their story into words yet here I am sitting in the middle of the night trying to write about their unmeasurable love.

Virat and Maanvi's story is actually nothing but unbelievable. Who would have known that two souls who literally started off hating each other would fall in love? You heard right, they HATED each other. When they were around each other they knew nothing but fighting. They found the smallest reasons to fight with each other and blame each other.

When VirMan first met they were introduced to each other as Viren and Jeevika. Maanvi called herself Jeevika believing that Virat was Viren and Virat called himself Viren believing that Maanvi was Jeevika. Eventually the mystery began to unravel and Virat found out that the girl whom he had known to be Jeevika was actually Maanvi and Maanvi found out that Viren was actually Virat. Confusing? I know. 😆 But that's exactly what happened. 😳

So this is where VirMan's hate story bloomed from. After Viren and Jeevika were married, Maanvi visited the Vadhera house several times where Virat and Maanvi did nothing but pull each other's legs and tease each other. Virat challenged Maanvi and Maanvi challenged Virat… they tried to beat each other and be ahead of each other always.

But in being so close to each other somehow a sense of friendship grew between them. Just because they were always teasing each other did not mean they didn't care about each other. One day, Maanvi hurt herself slightly and Virat rushed with a Band-Aid to her cure, he didn't even think twice and he didn't even care that Swamini Bua was standing in front of him. Nope! If Maanvi needed help then he was there.

Eventually Maanvi decided to promote Virat and gave him the name of her "Partner." At first Virat was slightly confused about this new title but eventually he accepted it knowing that Maanvi was someone who he could trust, no matter what.

Virat and Maanvi gradually started to know and understand each other better. As Maanvi learnt more about Virat's life she found out from Swamini Bua why Virat was always against this idea of "love." It was because he had been hurt in love previously. A girl named Maya had proven to be the worst thing he had ever received in his life; however, Swamini Bua quite like the idea of Maya and Virat's jodi. Maanvi said to Swamini Bua that she would help bring Maya back in Virat's life. The Swamini that had always hated Maanvi started showing affection towards her because she was bringing Maya and Virat together.

Maanvi tried many times to get Virat to understand Maya and his love for her. The only thing was that Virat DIDN'T love her, he didn't want her in his life. However, Maanvi Chaudary does what she wants. She managed to bring Maya back into Virat's life by writing a really sweet, emotional and moving letter. All Maya had done was written this letter, Maanvi was the one who had composed it for her Jeevika Di but Maya had taken credit as said by Maanvi and given it to Virat. Virat believed that Maya had written this letter so he finally accepted Maya back into his life again, this was his biggest mistake. Maya had not changed from the inside the slightest bit. Her current attitude was just plain and simple showing off.

Virat and Maya's relationship relied heavily on Maanvi. Even though Virat had Maya back in his life now he believed Maanvi to be his BEST FRIEND, his PARTNER FOREVER. This did two things. One: It made Maya jealous and two: it made Viren realize that maybe Virat actually loved Maanvi but he didn't realize it. Viren discovered that Maya hadn't changed at all and all of her recent kind behaviour was just acting, nothing else. He tried to prove this in front of the entire family but no one believed him, not even Virat.

One day Viren sat Virat down and told him to tell Maya that after marriage he wants to settle separate to his house, in a new place. As soon as Viren said this Virat received a text message from Maanvi which said that God gives us elder siblings because they take us on the right path. Being inspired from Maanvi's text message Virat listened to Viren and said this to Maya.

When Virat went and said all of this to Maya he was shocked by her reaction. Maya wasn't willing to live separately at all. This was when Virat realized that all Maya cared about was money, she was fake and she didn't love him, she loved his wealth. Virat left Maya but before he did Maya told him a truth which hurt him to core. She told him that the letter that was known to be sent by her was written by Maanvi. Maanvi had told Maya what to do and how to please him each and every minute of her life. It was all Maanvi's fault.

Virat was extremely hurt that Maanvi had done all this without him knowing. He was angry at her, really angry. This was when Viren made him realize that this anger was coming for a reason. Maanvi and Virat weren't just friends, they had a deeper relationship, one which had a very deep meaning. This was Virat's realization of his love for Maanvi.

Whilst all this was happening Maanvi found out that she was suffering from a deadly disease called cancer. Only her family in Hrishikesh were aware of this. Nobody in Chadigar knew, not even her Di. Virat came all the way from Chandigar to Hrishikesh to tell Maanvi that he loved her. When Virat confessed his love Maanvi fainted and did not hear him. Virat took care of Maanvi while she was ill. He tried to tell her many times that he loved her but something always came in the way.

Then something extremely unfortunate happened, Virat accidentally lit Madan Chachu's shop on fire. VirIka arrived from Hrishikesh to help out in the situation and Jeevika eventually got to know that Virat loved Maanvi. She was strongly against their relationship because she knew that Swamini would never accept Maanvi and would rather hurt her so she told Maanvi to stay away from Virat and this is exactly what Maanvi started doing.

Virat and Virat helped putting Madan's shop together and they succeeded in this but Maanvi still did not talk to Virat and continued to ignore him. Viren tried to find a solution to bring them together again and then he came up with an idea. He decided that he would pretend to be angry with Jeevika so that Virat and Maanvi would team up again and try to bring VirIka closer. In doing so, VirMan would become closer as well. The only thing was that Jeevika did not know Viren was faking this fight.

One day, VirIka, VirMan and the Hrishikesh family went out for a picnic. In this picnic Jeevika overheard a conversation between VV-Broz and found out that Viren was faking a fight with her. Jeevika got extremely upset and ran away into a forested area. VirMan and Viren chased her but they could see her nowhere. Jeevika eventually fell into an animal trap where her leg got caught and she bled severely. She got taken to hospital.

Dr Mannan said that Jeevika needed blood but there hospital did not have any of her rare blood type (O-) in store. Viren remembered that Maanvi's blood type was the same as Jeevika's. He asked her to donate blood but she couldn't because she had Leukemia. She didn't tell anyone this, she simply said she was scared of needle and this is why she couldn't donate blood. This made both Viren and Virat angry with Maanvi. Maanvi went outside of the hospital where she remembered that Mannan had stored some blood for her cancer which could be donated to Jeevika. She ran back to the hospital and everyone was relieved that Jeevika had a supply of blood but Viren and Virat were still angry at Maavni.

Virat took Maanvi to an isolated place where he questioned her about why she was being so selfish and why she didn't donate blood. This is where Maanvi revealed to Virat that she couldn't donate her blood because she had cancer. Virat was highly shocked when she told him this but he promised himself that he would be Maanvi's support through this disease.

Virat took Maanvi to Chandigar where Viren had taken Jeevika (so Jeevika could we away from Maanvi because she didn't donate blood). Viren was angry as to why Virat had brought Maanvi along with him. Virat told Viren that Maanvi had cancer. Viren was extremely apologetic for his behaviour towards Maanvi previously. VV-Broz encouraged Maanvi to not hide this truth from Jeevika and from their support Maanvi eventually revealed the cancerous truth to her sister.

Viren and Jeevika decided to get the best medical support for Maanvi so they contacted doctor's in Mumbai who could help her. VirMan and Jeevika went to Mumbai where they went to meet a doctor. In Mumbai were many of Virat's old friends, one of them stood out though, Tanya. She was very possessive about Virat and tried to prove that she was Virat's bestfriend/girlfriend NOT Maanvi. Tanya tried to misbehave with Virat and Maanvi couldn't tolerate this so she threw water at her face. Virat supported Maanvi while they were at the part but when they arrived home Virat was disappointed with Maanvi for behaving like this. VirMan had a FIGHT.

The next day was Maanvi's chemo session with a cancer specialist. Although Virat was angry with Maanvi he supported her during this session. Afterwards Maanvi saw a hairless kid who suffered from cancer. This made her nervous about losing her hair. Virat came to her and said that it doesn't matter about what Maanvi appear to look like, what matters is that she is beautiful from the inside. Maanvi hugged Virat and Virat kissed her hair lovingly. After VirMan broke apart from the hug Maanvi felt awkward but eventually she realized that her jealousy and her passion for him all meant something, she loved him. She was in love with Virat Vadhera.

Virat received Maanvi's reports in which were written that Maanvi's cancer had spread and could not be cured easily. Virat was extremely upset to know this. On the other hand, Maanvi was preparing to confess her love to Virat but when he came back home from the doctors surgery she remembered that she had cancer, she couldn't make Virat hers, she couldn't break his heart. She didn't tell that she loved him and Virat didn't tell her about her cancer reports. Viren was the only one Virat revealed the truth to. Everyone returned back to Chandigar.

Eventually life came to a stage where Maanvi's chemotherapy side-effects started showing up and she lost all her hair. She felt lonely, isolated and miserable. This was when Virat boosted up the determination in her to continue to be happy. He shaved his head for her, he shaved his hair off (kudos to Kushal Tandon for actually doing this).

When the family questioned Virat as to why he had done this, he admitted that he loved Maanvi. Maanvi refused to accept his love, even though she did love him, because she had CANCER. She returned to Chandigar to be away from him.

Maanvi had told Jeevika that she loved Virat and Jeevika accidentally revealed this to Viren who told it to Virat. Virat exploded with happiness after getting this news and went to Chandigar to convince Maanvi to confess her love for him. This wasn't an easy task about after 7 days of encouragement, Virat finally convinced Maanvi and Maanvi confessed her love to him.

Virat returned to Chandigar the morning after the love confession because of something important happening in Chandigar. Soon, Maavni got the new that Jeevika was pregnant. She wanted to see her sister but knew that SB would never accept Virman's relationship so she didn't go there. It was Dada Ji who announced on the day of Rakhee that since VirMan loved each other the Vadhera family was going to ask Maanvi's hand for Virat. The Vadheras arrived in Hrishikesh were they revealed the happy news that they wanted VirMan to get married. VirMan's roka happened soon after this and so did their engagement in which they shared many romantic moments.

But, there was a problem. Maanvi's cancer, it was getting worse. Virat and Viren eventually told JeeMan the truth about her cancer reports. Maanvi had maximum a year to live as said by the doctors, her life was cut short and there was hardly any chance of finding a bone marrow donor which was the only thing that could save her. A miracle occurred and Maanvi found a donor. Dr Mehra (the Dr treating Maanvi) did all the necessary things for the transplant when he found out that Maanvi's donor was a 5 on 6 match, not 6 on 6. Now since all of Maanvi's WBC had been destroyed, the needed to find a donor for her ASAP, otherwise her life would come to an end.

Of course Jeevika was her only match but she was pregnant and Maanvi wouldn't let Jeevika abort her child. But Jeevika could go to any extent for her sister. She secretly aborted her child and donated her bone marrow with only Viren knowing and Virat eventally finding out.

After Maanvi's bonemarrow transplant, which was successful, Maanvi was highly upset finding out hat Jeevika had aborted her child and didn't want to talk to her. Virat said to Maanvi that if she didn't try to understand her sister then he wouldn't talk to her. Viren further explained to Maanvi WHY Jeevika had done this. Maanvi understood that if she were in Jeevika's position she would've done the same. Maanvi apologized to Jeevika. Everyone in the family understood Jeevika's sacrifice as well, except SB. She had won against cancer because of her sister. She was cured.

When Maanvi returned home from the hospital everyone surprised her. A pandit which was also present in the surprise announced that a week later was the perfect date for VirMan's marriage. The next date was 4 months later and nor of VirMan were keen on waiting four months! 😉

BUT, one question remains unanswered. Jeevika has promised SB that she will punish herself for aborting her child. WHAT has she promised we've no idea. What will Jeevika do? What will be Viren/VirMan's reaction? Did Jeevika possibly promise that she won't attend VirMan's marriage? If so, then WILL Maanvi accept to get married without her sister's presence? So here we all stand. VirMan's marriage awaiting us on the 13 October 2012! We are all super happy and excited! The Maha countdown begins for the most awaited date in the world! 😃
