Kisses
Arnav peppered kisses along her face, his lips trailing down her cheek, over her jaw line, tracing the shape, tasting the skin, leaving Khushi breathless as she clutched onto his shoulders, her feelings overwhelming her as she scrunched up her eyes shut, her hands holding onto him for support, her heart racing in her chest as she felt his lips hover over hers, before feeling the slight pressure, coaxing her lips open, his tongue gliding in, capturing the moan that escaped her lips.
She gasped as he nipped her bottom lip, and her hands raked through his hair, grabbing a handful of the hair at the back of his neck, his lips gently guiding her to move against his own, short sharp breathing filling the silent room, where two bodies lay entwined on a soft cotton mattress, darkness surrounding them, save for the moonlight that bathed over the bodies illuminating the room, their features, highlighting the intimacy of their moment together as they held onto each other, short nips and bites at each other's skins, followed by gentle kisses smoothing away the pain with pleasure, their hands tugging at each other's clothing, easing each other into the next level of intimacy.
Khushi felt a tear slip past an eye and his lips closed over it, letting his breath wash over her face as her lips trembled and she gently stroked his cheek as he moved back. Slowly opening her eyes, they connected with his, and she felt another tear slip past at the love and tenderness that she saw in those eyes. He bent down, and kissed the other cheek, his thumb gently wiping away the tear, his lips feathering kisses over her face, her hands tracing over his back and body, feeling his muscles flex under her palms.
He moved away and held himself up on his forearms, careful to not crush her, his darkened eyes holding hers, his fingers gently brushing away the strands of hair that fell near her eye, the finger trailing down her cheek, over her jaw, the thumb brushing over her lips, wiping away the remnants of the lip gloss she had worn, leaning down, his eyes fixated on the bow-shaped lips, his breath washing over the side of her face, as Khushi felt herself go dizzy from the flurry of emotions, the overwhelming urge to wrap her arms around him, feel his lean taut body against hers and never let go. She knew that she could not survive without him. She had given her heart, her soul to the man, she had been laid bare, her emotions for him to see, her heart was in his hand, and she had no qualms as she laid her entire trust with him.
As he bent closer, his eyes flickered over to hers again, and Khushi held her breath as she saw them glistening with tears. The moment they were sharing one of the most memorable, her hands shaking as she gently stroked up his cheek, feeling the stubbled skin, her breaths coming out in short, raspy gasps as she gently brushed away the tear that slipped past an eye. She expected him to blink the tears away, to look away and detach himself as he always did.
But he held her eye, baring his entire heart and soul for her, not hiding away, and Khushi felt a lump form in her throat at the intensity of the moment, her head becoming light a her lips broke into a small smile, his own lips twitching, then both of them smiling till their cheeks hurt, their body filling with happiness, with gratitude, with love at finally being together.
Finally.
"I love you" He whispered, and bent down to kiss his wife.
