Jagya's brazen attitude (or is it immaturity?) knows no bounds.

He comes to Jaitser without any prior planning or consideration to the fact that he has divorced Anandi and that she continues to live in the haveli as a daughter not DIL.
If he had given even 2 minutes of time to think through his actions - he would have realized he needed to get the lay of the land b4 showing up at the haveli. He is from Jaitser - surely there his old friends and mates he could contact and make discrete enquiries. If he done so, he would realize he needed to show up after Anandi's wedding to be perhaps forgiven and accepted in the haveli. His timing is all wrong.
Even now - if he would but turn to Lal Singh for help and advice. He would have found himself with better options than this fugitive on the run situation! Lal Singh may have helped him out financially or at least helped him find a job some place other than Jaitser.
Let us say his pride would not let him turn to Lal Singh - if he had got back to the hospital and re-negotiated with Bhairon and Dadisa for giving him some or all of his inheritance now as he is down and out - he may have succeeded in saving his pride. But no, he is so down in the dumps that he is totally operating on emotions rather than using his intellect!!
BTW - I loved the way the CVs portrayed Jagya's thought process or should I say self-talk? The different shades of emotions that held sway over his mind were laid out to the viewers superbly!! I am given to understand that people who are lonely, emotionally shattered and low in self-esteem often indulge in this kind of self-talk.
