It was funny watching Taki get rebuffed by all his sons, and having to go on this expedition himself. But where is Vritra, has he too abandoned him? Incidentally, anyone noticed today - they showed lightning in the sky caused by Taki. But Dadhichi is not yet dead - at least as far as we know, and Indra is supposed to get the Vajra. Instead, Taki has gotten it. 🤣
I think the CVs of this serial read my views and have decided to compete w/ me in asura glorification. 😆 I mean, I just support asuras based on how they were treated by devas, but the CVs are going one better. They are showing Vidyunmali, Kamalaksh and Tarakaksh as saints here, which is admirable. They are showing Taki as the first to wield a Vajra. And now, they are vilifying the devas even more than in the original. 🤣 I just love it ❤️
I mean, in at least 1 version of the original story, Agni & Vayu approached Mahadev, who gave them the 6 sparks - there were 6 sparks, not one fireball 😆 Then they took it to Ganga & so on. But here, they show Agni stealing it from Mahadev & Parvati. What's more, they show the devas as obviously thinking that Mahadev & Parvati have no interest in the safety of this baby, and that it's up to them to protect him from a demon whom they can't even defeat. How does that work?
So having made Agni a baby snatcher 🤣, they are on Monday gonna show Parvati again take I think Adi-Shakti's form and threaten them. So all of us who had been complaining about Adi Shakti getting the shaft, well - she'll be back, and this time, threatening the devas. But why curse them - that's for wimps. Instead, just take her javelin and aim it @ Indra, and hand him over to Taki, and grant Taki that her son won't kill him, and that he'd die of boredom 🤣
And poor Agni. After stealing the fireball, he can't hold it, and I was expecting that they'd ask Vayu to join him to cool that thing and then both of them take it to Ganga. Maybe on Monday, they may show that. But it's not fair to cut out Vayu's role in this.
But yeah, this episode was pretty funny - the devas being shown pretty much dark grey. Hopefully, Parvati will be more pro-asura and anti-deva in future. She should hire Shumbha & Nishumbha as her ministers. 😈 And send them against Indra.
The imagery of Mahadev & Parvati meditating, and the CGI dance shown was beautiful. Like I expected, it was done in slo-mo, so that there was no question of it being wrong. I tried to count, but couldn't - on whether there were 6 sparks or not being created. Eventually, it became 1 fireball, which Agni stole.
Sia, thanks for the update. A better title for this episode would have been - Too hot for Agni 😆
