Dunno if this will ever materialize ... I guess not .. but just sharing this with you guys nonethless ... This is something I saw on Just Dance last year .. and it would be a DREAM COME TRUE if we had Swayam and Sharon perform like this on this song (The Bengali version Ami je tomar, with lyrics) :

Kathak is one of THE most beautiful (and difficult) dance forms out there . And Sneha's a BEAUTIFUL sight to behold when she dances, I kind of go into a trance .. Its like watching poetry in motion. Kathak is all about Nazakat (Grace) ... As such SDPI dancers are known for their grace and Sneha's gotta be one of THE most graceful dancers I have ever seen ... and mind you I have seen a BUTT-LOAD of dancers growing up - watching, learning from and dancing with . As for Shantanu, I dunno if he knows Kathak or not but I've noticed he picks up stuff very fast and very easily and the range hez covered on D3 , from Bollywood, to Hip Hop to Latin is staggering ... so even if he doesn't know Kathak .. I am pretty sure he'll match up Sneha for a Kathak piece with ease given a little time n' practice .

Palki Ma'am said in some interview that Sharon cannot be shown doing Bollywood / Classical cuz of her character ... Itnay toh Creative Liberties liye jaate hai... toh ussi baat ko zehen mein rakhte huye .. Eik Dream sequence mein bhi yeh mumkin nahin ho sakta kya ? 😒

Hoga toh nahin I guess ... but sapnay dekhnay mein kya jaata hai 😳

Hey thnx for sharing "Ami je tomar" dunno about the bengali version but this is one song i love and my mother adores this song..she is glued to TV screen whenever it comes. 😊 I followed just dance and remember this performance.

I am not a dancer and don't know much about dancing but i know for sure that Sneha is the most graceful dancer on D3 and D3 people are blessed to have this beautiful dancer but they never show her doing Kathak. She is trained classical dancer and CV's can't even show her dancing to such songs...i know as Sharon they can't but not even as dream sequence.

Shantanu as you mentioned picks up stuff very fast..i am sure he will be able to learn or atleast match up Sneha pretty well. It would be treat for every SwaRon/TanHa fan to see Sharon and Swayam dancing to this or something like this together...dream sequence bhi chalega.

No idea hoga ya nahin but haan sapne dekhne main kya jaata hai...itne dekhe hai ek aur sahi..atleast this makes us all smile. 😊

The Bengali lyrics of the song literally translate to " Mai toh tumhari hoon - I am your's" (Ami je tomar) 😳 .. And yeah maana ke Sharon Dazzler hai .. but Creative Liberty lekay eik dream sequence toh dikha hi sakte hai .. anyways yahaan hamari kaunsi koi sunta hai 😒 But I guess the thought itself makes us smile 😳 SwaRon fans are such suckers 😆

I don't follow this show, but i think i should..another show you will introduce me too 😳

And as you mentioned Sneha's forte is classical and she is just amazing with facial expressions.

And Shantanu sure is a quick learner and i am sure will do equally good.

Kash we get to see them perform like this together.

And what's the harm in dreaming - Dreaming is good..may be with all the positivity we can muster..we may after all get something like this in D3 real soon..even if it means its a dream sequence.

Awww what a beautiful post Rafi. Really sneha is one the best dancers I have ever seen. It would be my dream come true if I get to see them perfom on this song.

I dont know . Hamari luck toh aise bhi 'Chu' hai waise bhi 'Chu' hai, if you know what I mean. Andar bahar har jagah baji padi hai, kahin chayn nahin hai. So aise samne dekhna is like Chaand ke raste pe paidal chalna ... but they are such beautiful dancers man . Thats why Dil hai ke maanta nahin .. in the feeble hopes ke shayad by come cosmic cooincidence aisa kuch mumkin ho jaye 😒

I guess the aim behind making a non-dancer do Kathak was in the hopes that perhaps the magnificence of Kathak as a dance will salvage what the Female otherwise lacks in terms of dancing skills . But aukat dekh ke jurrat karni chaiye na. Mandir mein toh Diye ka Ghee badalne ka ijazat sirf Brahmin ko hi hai na ?! 😳

u spoke ma heart rafi...ever since i know that sneha is a trained classical dancer i always wished to see her doing khathak..m nt a trained dancer but i hav always loved khatak..as u said its all about grace n who else other than sneha can do it better..she is as graceful like a swan..n tannu..he is an all rounder..there is nothing he cannot do..i love ths song too n remember ths performance of karan n soumitha..karan was ma favorite in his khatak style..

meri ek aur khwaish hai..i wanna see sneha doin khathak on ore piya song frm the movie aja nachle..n that dance shud be preformed wen she realises her true feelings fr swayam..pata nahi woh din kabhi ayega bhi ya nahi..but as we all swaronians are good at-DREAMING
