PART 2

Arnav was sitting in his guest house,reading something.His mind keep on going to that girl,who was playing in the rain with that kids.He wanted to see her again.

Arnav(thinking)-What the hell is happening to me?Why can't I concetrate on anything?Why am I thinking about that girl?ASR you are mad..thinking about some girl..even whose name you don't know..

With that he put the book on the tea-poy and switched on the TV.It was a regional Hindi channel..some kind of phone-in programme.

VJ(Visual Jockey)-So guyz,today's topic is how to realise whether you are in love or not...Please take your phone and give a call to 9444------8 and share your experiences..

Usually,when such programmes are shown,Arnav used to change the channel,telling"UNBELIEVABLE".But today,he decided to watch it for a while.

VJ-Hello,welcome to ques answer..Who is calling?

Caller-Hi,Iam Nidhin.

VJ-Good evening Nidhin..So hope you know about today's topic..How did you realise when you were in love?

Caller-Hmm..Actually I was never seriously committed to any one. I didn't develop any kind of feeling towards anyone until I saw Aarti..

Caller-I first met her in our college..on freshers day..she was 2 years junior to me..me and my friends were actually doing a little ragging to our juniors..Then I saw her..

Caller(laughing)-I knew I was atracted to her..But when I reached home,I couldn't concentrate on anything..I keep on remembering her..Even in the dreams too,I only saw her..Gradually I realised that..

VJ-You have fallen in love with her,right?

Caller-Yes..After some days I invited her for a dating and proposed her..It was an YES from her end too.

Anjali-Nothing chottey..Are you free now?

Arnav-Yeah.Why?

Anjali(reluctantly)-Chottey'.if you are free..can you go to Devi Maiyyah's temple nearby our guest house'I had wished something..can you go and fulfil it for me?

Arnav-Yeah di..

Anjali(surprised)-Wow chottey'you agreed to go to temple..I can't believe this..What happened suddenly chottey?

Arnav-Stop it di.I will call you once I reach temple..Bye

AT TEMPLE

Arnav reached temple.He dialed his di's no and asked about her wish.She told him names of some pooja and offerings.Arnav went to a near by shop to buy the offerings.

Khushi meanwhile was praying Devi maiyyah .Tears were rolling down her cheeks.

Khushi(praying)-Devi Maiyyah,why are you testing me like this? Why can't that Aayush leave me and my family?Who is there to protect us? Who is there to protect me from that beast?Now he is telling it is my marriage with him next Monday'Devi Maiyyah,you know my dreams about my wedding and my future husband right?Then why you chose Aayush..the one who changes girl like tissue paper and throw them as a waste?Why?Who is there to love me?Who is there to console me?Who is there to protect me? No one..Even you left me nah? I have always believed in you and look you left me abandoned.I will never talk to you here after..

With that Khushi turns to leave..roughly wiping her tears..The tears were making her vision blurry.She was on the top of the steps.Suddenly something hard collided her.She lost her balance and slipped.Khushi closed her eyes expecting to hit the ground.But the pain never came.Instead she felt two muscular arms around her..stopping her from falling..None other than Arnav..

Arnav was looking her,keenly.He immediately recognized her.The one whom he saw hours back,playing in the rain with kids.He was surprised.She was wearing a cute red churidar and was looking extremely beautiful..Her hair tied in a loose pony.No make up except a small red bindi,enhancing her cuteness.Her eyes were closed in fear.Her lips shivering. She was unknowingly clutching the collar of his shirt.Some strands of hair was caressing her face.He felt an urge to tuck it behind her ear'and he did so.Her skin felt like rose petals'so soft and pink..He allowed his hand to linger there for a few seconds.

Khushi felt some one caressing her fore head and she immediately opened her eyes.She saw two chocolate eyes keenly watching her.He was a handsome man.. definitely taller than her..He was leaning to her..his hands around her waist steadying her..She suddenly became aware of the place and position they were.She pushed Arnav gently and stood herself.

Khushi(a bit angry)-Don't you have eyes?Can't you look and walk carefully?

Arnav(confused)-Excuse me,It is me the one who should ask this question right?You were about to fall and I was helping you.

Khushi(pointing her finger)-Don't you dare give any excuses..I know boys like you very well..waiting to find an excuse to touch girls.

Arnav(irritated)-Oh I was wrong..I think I should have let you fall.

Khushi(angry)-THANK YOU for your greatness.

With that she left hurriedly,leaving Arnav saying "what the"and"unbelievable".He too went to the opposite direction,to fulfil his sister's wish.

Khushi was about to call a taxi when she saw Aayush and his gang waiting for her.She was scared.

Aayush came to her and grabbed her hand.Khushi was struggling for release.He brought her near his car.

Aayush-So Ms Gupta,hope your parents have told about OUR wedding,next Monday. As it is a rush wedding,we don't have enough time for rituals and such stuffs.We are not properly engaged too..So I think,we can get engaged now,hereitself(he said taking a box having two rings from his pocket).

Khushi-No'no'no..I won't allow this.I don't want to get engaged or married to you.

Aayush-Who needs your permission,Ms Gupta?Now don't create a scenene here in public..Show me your hand..

Khushi-I said no..It is better to die than marrying a person like you.

Aayush-Oh so I think you won't do if I say politely..Fine then let me make myself wear you this ring.

Khushi begin to run from there.She didn't know what to do..But she knew onething for sure..that is she cannot get engaged to Aayush..So she ran from there'wanting to escape..Aayush's goons were chasing her behind.But she kept on running,wanting to hide.It was an isolated road..She then saw a white SUV coming.She showed her hands wanting the SUV to stop. The vehicle immediately stopped.Khushi went near the driving seat'exhausted.Without even looking who it was she begin to say..

Khushi(tired)-Please'hel'help me'they are following me..please'

It is only after that she noticed whom she was asking help.It was none other than Arnav..

Arnav was shocked and surprised to see her running in such an hour in an isolated road..That is why he immediately stopped the car..He knew something was wrong..He then saw some men from a distance coming,running..

Khushi(nervous,pleading)-See they will find me now'Please help me'I am sorry for what I have told there in the temple'Now please help me..My life is in danger..

Arnav-Get inside..

Without wasting any time Khushi got inside his SUV and they left.Fortunately the goons didn't see them.They said the same thing to Aayush..

Aayush(banging his fist on the car)-Damn it'No problem Ms Gupta,I will get you'

The nerve of Aayush...first trying to force her to marry him, then coming to the temple to force her to get engaged to him and then sending his goons to force her back to him...Ugh!!!

Khushi prayed for help and she got it...but like most of us she didn't recognize the aide or the one who would aide her...
