The highlight Moment of the day!!!

Hola folks!

I know I was MIA since the past two weeks or so. Sorry! Work has really eaten me up! I will still be on/off now on. I tried doing a Weekly Darshan according to Sowme's suggestion, but sadly could not stick to it.

Felt good to find IP Redux transformed into a new brand - Koffee with Redux! Thanks Bush for bringing this new version! 🤗 Hope your fever vanishes soon... take care.

Apart from that, I have missed all of you, and Redux! Missed the discussions, the warmth, the understanding, the chatter... Sigh! Anyway, it's always nice to drop in here! 😊

I'm a bit sleepy right now, so will just say "I still stick to my view that Arnav's father is innocent, that he truly loved his wife Ratna, and that her seeing him with another woman was misunderstood". I would also like to say that, I do not think Garima had an affair with ASR's father. There seems to be some misunderstanding there too - for all we know, Daadi and Garima may be referring to two different men in their conversations.

Since I'm yet again short of time, I am using this format to pen down the points in a time-frame.

Misunderstandings seem to be an integral part of this show. Garima's confession of being unaware of loving a man who was married and Daadi's claim that Garima is the woman who destroyed her family doesn't seem to connect when you bring in Senior Malik's reaction to his wife Ratna accusing him of having an extra-marital affair. His consequent suicide right after his wife's suicide doesn't match an action of a man involved with another woman.

Also, if you remember, Garima had said something along the lines of "hume us vaqt sach batana chahiye tha" - meaning she lied in the past. But to who? And what lie? When Daadi, in the past, accused her of the affair, did Garima let Daadi think that it was an affair with Senior Malik. Was Garima in love with Chachaji, but did not clarify this fact to Daadi? Is this why Garima is now sorry for having told that lie that led to Senior Malik and his wife's deaths? Is this why she now said that she had no clue that Arnav-Anjali's childhood was destroyed because of her lie?

Daadi had puffed angrily away after confronting Garima. She had set off to tell Arnav the so-called truth. However, since Arnav was absent, she had time to recollect her thoughts, to simmer down, to think, and to plan a new route of bringing her version of the truth in front. She had time to consider every person, every relationship, every bond, every reaction, and possibly the outcome. She is Arnav's Daadi, and there's no doubt where Arnav inherited his 'shaatir' dimaagh from. Daadi is cooling her heels right now, waiting for that opportune moment to drop the bomb that may stop the marriage between Arnav and Khushi from happening.

However, Daadi is extremely headstrong, she believes only in what she thinks, and doesn't really care to listen to what others have to say. Just like Shyam, Daadi too has underestimated the love between Arnav and Khushi. This will be her downfall.

The most important factor to consider is the equation between grandson Arnav and Grandmother Daadi. They have both been at loggerheads ever since Daadi's entry into RM. They both share almost similar characteristics - stubborn, quick-tempered, headstrong etc.

What is also interesting is that so far they haven't seen eye-to-eye on almost any matter. Arnav is well aware that his Daadi holds Khushi and her family in high contempt. He knows that Daadi has never truly accepted Khushi into the family. Arnav has seen her attempts at breaking their marriage before - when she went to GH and cast humiliation on Khushi, and when she constantly refused to acknowledge Khushi as part of the family.

Arnav knows that Daadi will try anything to break the marriage. Now, when Daadi tells him her version of truth that Garima was the other woman in his father's life that led to his parent's deaths, he may believe her, may be shattered by this truth and may feel thwarted by the kind, caring Garima.

What we shouldn't forget is that Arnav is too deep in love right now. He has gone too far ahead with Khushi sentimentally. He kept asking Khushi "Bharosa hai mujh par?" And he has seen Khushi trusting him blindly (when he blindfolded her for the game). Khushi trusts him, trusts in his love - Arnav can't just break her trust so easily.

He may at first choose to disbelieve Daadi about Garima, but even if he does believe her, Arnav may go on with marriage, but the truth will scratch his memory and heart, which may lead him to be emotionally distant from Khushi after the wedding.

Remember NK saying "Suhaag raat par ban lag jaayega"? It may be an emotional ban between the newly-weds. The truth about his past will stop Arnav from getting close to Khushi. He will know that Khushi herself isn't responsible for any of it, but the fact that her mausi, the woman who brought up Khushi all these years was the one responsible for the scars in his heart, for stealing his mother away from him, will be a barrier between Arnav and Khushi.

KHUSHI'S PREMONITION

It often happens that when there is an excess of good things happening, and when there is an overload of happiness you tend to doubt it, you feel that something bad is lurking around the corner. It sometimes does happen too. I have personally experienced it a couple of times, and just like Khushi, I am now on tenterhooks when things and situations go too smoothly, and happily.

Khushi has always been attuned to her surroundings, and this time, she has unconsciously picked up the dangerous vibes floating around. Garima's need to talk to her, Garima's unsettled behaviour since the past few days, and Daadi's around turn behaviour of giving her the family bangles/kangans, and accepting her as part of the family have jarred Khushi's sensitive antennae.

As usual, Khushi is unaware of what exactly is going to befall her and Arnav. Plus, the last time Arnav was happy it led to the terrace scene that prompted Arnav to marry her in a rage and hate. This time too he is happy, and not at all serious about her fears - does this mean that the marriage will happen, but not out of rage, or hate, but out of love, though the marriage may be soaked in pain for Arnav due to the version of truth that Garima is behind all these years of heartache over his parent's?

THIS AND THAT

Daadi lying in front of Devi Maiyya: Daadi has no idea that Devi Maiyya's favourite child will always be protected by her. The fact that Daadi lied about keeping the happiness of the house intact in frot of Devi Maiyya, and that she also said a smug "Hum jaante hai" to Garima's statement that Khushi would not be able to live without Arnav, again in front of Devi Maiyya, gives me enough consolation that Devi Maiyya will take care of Khushi's happiness. She will not let her child down, and will foil Daadi's plans, schemes, and uncharitableness.

Shyam's anguish: OMG! This was undoubtedly 'the best moment' in the episode. Shyam's before and after expressions when Daadiji approaches Khushi is die-hard funny! Daadi stumped everyone, even the master-planner-of-devious-mind Shyam! She may confide in Shyam about her plan to tell the truth on the marriage day, let's see if she does so. If she doesn't, Shyam may come up with his own plans, or hound Daadi to know why she changed track.

Shashiji-Garima: I loved the way Shashiji saw Garima disturbed and laid a hand on hers to ask what the problem was. Very endearing and sweet scene!

Arnav-Khushi: Their relationship has been growing slowly and beautifully. It was very nice to finally get a glimpse into Arnav's love for gardening. Always wanted to know about that. I also loved the way they entered the house holding hands and not letting go until Garimaji took Khushi aside to tell her about the past. A strong indication that Arnav and Khushi are going to be together for the long run. Remember them gathering the channas, and the broken pieces of the vase? Yes, that's them re-building ties, relations, and bonds after the truth is out.

I would like to write more, but time allows me just this much. It was great writing after such a hiatus. Hope to be able to come more often, let's see.

When Subhdra Malik aka dadiji gv kangans to KhushI n pretended to be happy, two things kept ringing in my mind 1) Dadi wahi dekhti hai jo wo dekhna chahti hain (she only see's what she wants to see) 2) 14 saal pehle jo us aurat ki wajah se hua tha (14 yrs back, all that happened bcz of her)

I do not mind using BD's, I can understand the situation where the need arise but can we be smart abt it, one scene you show the BD hands, the next frame the original actor, cant the editing team gv a better performance or cant we hv a week in advance work on script and shooting accordingly

This poem of mine i wrote on arhi yesterday n today state n the plan of dadi which i symbol here as unknown time bcz no 1 knw what time ll come to their way even that time itself dnt knw. Koi pyar main gumm, koi pyaro ko juda krney main gumm n what time got 4 them it itself unknown to it.
