I have thought up six scenarios in which Arvi gets reunited without Purvi getting pregnant. Here is scenario one.
A few weeks into the Arjun and Ovi marriage:
Arjun has buried himself in work at the office. He works from dawn to dusk. He is busy running his business empire. He ensures that he leaves early in the morning before Ovi wakes up and returns very late at night so that Ovi is asleep. He has become the ultimate workaholic. He is trying to forget his love for Purvi but it's too hard. Her memories haunt him. In every Business meeting, he sees her there doing a presentation. He is continuously relieving their happy moments.
Meanwhile, Ovi is becoming frustrated with the way things are going. She tries in vain to get Arjun to notice her. She has started back dressing well and applying makeup. She wonders how she can entice her husband. Arjun never speaks to her and the rare occasions that he does, it's with anger and hatred. He told her several times that he despises her and that she should not ever show her face to him.
Every night Ovi dresses up and eagerly awaits the arrival of her husband but it's to no avail. He is never there. She cries herself to sleep and promises herself that tomorrow she will get Arjun's love. They sleep in separate bedrooms.
Ovi then hatches up a plan. She intends to get Arjun drunk and when he's under the influence of alcohol, she'll dress up as Purvi and seduce him. She wants her marriage to be consummated at the earliest. This plan fails however because Arjun refuses to consume anything given by her hand.
She then tries the suicidal plan again. She threatens Arjun that she'll take her life if she does not get his love. An angry Arjun shouts at her and says that he only loves Purvi and that is the truth of his life. He then tells her it's her life and she has the right to do what she wants. He runs into the kitchen and brings back a knife. He gives it to her and says that she should end it now. Ovi is shocked and does not think that Arjun is bluffing. She does not have the courage to end her life.
Ovi is really frustrated at this point. She rethinks her situation. She realizes she is fighting a losing a battle. She calls Arjun but he ignores her call. She then calls Purvi and tell her to meet her at Arjun's office immediately. Purvi gets worried that something might have happened to Arjun and rushes there.
Purvi enters Arjun's office and Arjun is shocked. "Purvi!!!???"
Purvi is still panic stricken and runs to Arjun. She hugs him. Arjun thinks he is dreaming but Purvi suddenly pulls away and apologizes him. "Purvi? Aap?"
"Arjun" she sucked in her breath. His name is like a lifeline on her lips.
Both are in an eye lock when Ovi walks in. she takes in the scene before her and smiles.
Purvi gets uncomfortable. "Ovi, why have you called me here?"
Ovi gets straight to the point "Purvi, do you love Arjun?"
Purvi is speechless. She is wondering where this question is coming from. "Ovi, I can assure you that I will never come between you and Arjun. I have given you my word". She is almost in tears but manages to get a grip over herself.
"That's not what I asked you Purvi! I asked if you love Arjun"
"Ovi!!!!!!!!!" Arjun roars. "You have no right to question Purvi, especially after all she's done for you!"
Ovi ignores him and looks pointedly at Purvi "I want an answer Purvi"
Purvi's mind has stop working and she looks at Ovi in confusion. "Ovi''"
"Yes Purvi?"
"I cannot answer you truthfully, please don't ask me this question"
Ovi goes over to Purvi. "Do you love Arjun?"
Purvi starts crying "No I do not! Arjun belongs to you now. I have gotten over my love for him'." She closes her eyes.
Arjun closes his eyes to. Every word Purvi says is like a blow to the gut.
"You're lying Purvi."Ovi says. "Open your eyes and say it to me"
Purvi is unable to move.
"How can you say that you don't love me Purvi? I know damn well that you do!" Arjun cries.
Ovi makes Purvi look at her. "Purvi, I know you love Arjun and I know he loves you because he reminds me every day of this fact.!"
"Ovi, i'''."
Ovi's face softens. "Purvi, please forgive me. I separated you from your love. It was wrong of me."
Arjun and Purvi are stunned. "Ovi what are you saying? You have more rights over Arjun than I do"
"Purvi please let me finish. I have been in Love with him since my childhood. He is my best friend. I love him dearly. But I have realized that he does not love me. And I cannot force him to. I tried. He only loves you." She turns to look at Arjun. "Arjun I'm sorry, we've been best friends for so many years and yet still I couldn't understand you. I want a divorce. I cannot see the lives of the three of us being ruined because of my selfishness. Yes Arjun, I became selfish. Please forgive me."
"Ovi! Do you even know what you're saying?" Purvi questions. "Ovi'"
"Purvi, I'm going away from Arjun's life. I cannot bear his hatred toward me. It's better if he remains my best friend. At least I'll still have him in my life. I would rather have him as a friend than not have him at all. He loves you and you love him. I've heard that it's a sin to separate lovers. I want the both of you to be happy."
"But Ovi what about your happiness?" Purvi is pained hearing what Ovi has to say. "Ovi I have given my word that I'll stay from him. He'll come to love you in time"
Arjun speaks up "Purvi I only love you. My life is incomplete without you. You are my reason for living."
"But Arjun'"
"No buts" Ovi said. She wipes her tears and takes Purvi's hand and places it in Arjun's. "Please Arjun. Please Purvi. I have wronged you both. Please accept each other for my sake."
Purvi puts up some resistance but Ovi convinces her. She agrees to accept Arjun on Ovi's request. Arjun however has something to say "One minute! You two sisters change your minds at will and expect me to go with the flow. Am I toy? I think not."
Ovi looks at Arjun. "Are you saying that you won't accept Purvi? Ok fine, I get her married to someone else. Arjun gets upset and says " Ovi, you know how much I love Purvi. But the two of you made a deal and I got traded in. this is something I can't overlook."
Ovi apologizes profusely to him and so does Purvi. Ovi manages to convince him saying that they realize their mistake. She steps aside and Arvi hugs.
"But Ovi, what will you do?" Purvi enquires.
"My agent in Canada has called me. I got a big modelling contract in Venice. It's a world premier event. They want me to be the lead model for their fashion week. I've already accepted. I'll leave in a few days. And maybe I might find someone there and you never know, I might just fall in love again." She smiled at Arvi and all three of them hug.
Arvi gets reunited and Ovi gets some redemption for acting and being selfish. Everyone wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
