Karan Johar's new baby has shattered all previous records in the overseas market and emerged the biggest opener ever. Its opening is higher than the two previous major openers -- Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Veer-Zaara. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was expected to open big, but the initial weekend collections have shocked everyone. Diwali week generally sees a huge jump in box-office collections, and therefore is often the desired release period. However, despite the fact Karan Johar's new outing has hit the cinemas long before the holidays, it has drove home the fact that a good film can make it big and survive all oppositions and rubbish rumours. So far, the combined total from the three markets [U.S.A., U.K., Australia] is approx. Rs. 13.75 crores in just 3 days.
