Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain

Episode begins with Viren and Jeevika in the car, parked outside Vadhera Mansion. Jeevika is numb and in a state of shock. Viren comes to her side and asks her till when will they wait outside? Sooner or later they have to go inside and face the situation. Jeevika comes out of the car, recalling the flashback when Viren is asking her to take care of their baby, and the part where the Doctor tells her that the abortion is done. Immediately she loses balance and hugs Viren. Her cries are really loud as she mourns the death of her unborn baby.
Viren brings Jeevika back home and they silently return to their room. Jeevika enters and sees the pictures of babies previously put up on their wall. Tears flow out of her eyes and Viren keeps her to sleep. He controls his tears only to see Jeevika cuddled up in the bed and crying. He hold onto her emotionally while she cries her heart out. He also asks her to be brave and promises her they will soon get back what they have lost.
Viren then goes to the bathroom, where he finally lets out his tears. He too cries and mourns the loss of his first baby.
Next morning, Viren brings breakfast for Jeevika and asks her to eat as well as take her medicine. She doesn't want to, but he forces her that if she doesn't she won't be able to save Manvi and their sacrifice will go in vain. She drinks a little bit of juice and suddenly someone knocks on their door.
Viren opens it and it's Virat and Manvi holding hands apparently because Manvi's eyes are closed. Jeevika hides her tears while Viren inquires what's wrong and what happened to Manvi's eyes. Once they reach Jeevika, Manvi opens her eyes, she tells Jeevika that today for some reason the first person she wanted to see after waking up was her Di. Ek hazaaron main meri Di hai. Jeevika smiles, but then again her baby's death cross her mind and she becomes sad. Manvi tells her that she wishes her Chutki grows up to be like her mother. Viren and Jeevika are take aback.
In the hall, Inder is tensed. Swamini inquires if everything's fine? And Inder explains how Viren, being the most successful lawyer backed out of the case, despite knowing that his case was already strong and he had 90% winning chances. Inder and Swamini are both wondering why Viren and Jeevika suddenly changed their opinion about their baby's abortion. Virat overhears their conversation and is left in thought.
After breakfast, Viren tells Jeevika to be strong, because if she stays the same way then everyone will find out that there's something wrong/fishy and they cannot risk telling the truth to everyone before the transplant. Jeevika agrees. Again someone knocks.
This time it's Vanshika. Vanshika asks Jeevika to take good care of herself because the first three months of pregnancy are very important in building the baby. Therefore her friend has sent some special Laddoo for pregnant women and wishes that Jeevika eats them so that the baby can be born healthy. Jeevika becomes all gloomy and sad again. As Vanshika takes her hand forward to feed Jeevika the laddoo, Viren stops her and gives an excuse that Jeevika is not hungry and he will personally feed her later on. Vanshika finds his behavior weird but she agrees and leaves.
Everyone (Vadheras + Chaudharys) have gathered for lunch apart from Manvi. Viren gets Jeevika seated, just then his phone rings. It's Dr. Mehra, so he excuses himself. He then returns with the news that they have found Manvi a new donor. Everyone is happy, tears flow out of Beeji's eyes while Pinky Chachi blabbers some nonsense and Dabbu thanks God. Jeevika cannot express her happiness because she is still grieved with the death of her baby. Chachi asks why Jeevika isn't smiling at this news? Jeevika immediately fakes a smile and Kaddambari explains that Jeevika cannot express it cause she is shocked just like everyone else.
Viren informs Jeevika that they should leave immediately after lunch in order to go and meet the new donor. Swamini Bua interrupts asking what's the need of Jeevika to go? Screen freezes of Viren and Jeevika's shocked faces.
Precap- Viren and Jeevika are leaving with Virat for the hospital, Swamini Bua enters and tells Viren that since Jeevika is pregnant, she wants Jeevika not to go to the hospital and stay home instead. Both are speechless.
An amazing episode overall. Personally I loved the beginning. It clearly expressed the pain and agony that parents go through after losing their unborn child, especially when it's just their first one. Both KT and KD stood up to my expectations. They were outstanding! Now I can't wait to see the expressions of Virat and Manvi when they find out about the abortion. Good going creatives!
