is padmini really self respected

why i'm asking this question is padmini ko film line ke alava koi kaam nahi aatha hai.she had 2children's responsibility no husband to give parvarish to her children where she can say that my chidren are growing i must be their for them and my husband's salary was enough for their living.magar paddy ji ke paas aisa koi option nahi hai.she is so self respected and she won the world.but how i didn't understand .she left her job for last 8years then whom she dependent with her 2children with what relation.if mallick is taking care of them then how can she do that without relation to that man depending on him is this called self respect .depending on roma is not justice for her then madhu ,is sending madhu for work from childhood.i didn't understant this logic of whole mallick family members.do you all think that i'm wrong than sorry.

i did question malik having a raw deal in the relationship with the two girls and padmini, because of padmini's sanskar and pavarish she didn't marry malik and wasted all this time until now he never married and had his own family because of her ready made children living under him, 8 years not working because the children needed looking after, but she could have started a food business something to help the family also, instead only madhu, malik and roma were working, which is not right yes I agree, but her vows taken in her marriage, though she faked her death to run from her husband, still stand and she doesn't want to commit polygamy by marrying malik, possibly because of her sanskar and pavarish she feels she owes to live the way she does a married woman to wait for balraj chaudhary to die first.
