This is from a tamil film, played by Ramya Krishna. I remember having a week's fever after watching this movie in the theatre. Pretty old film but incredible done!

I have seen this and it is one of my fav as well. Infact I kept imagining a scene like this when promos of Mahakaali started coming out. The climax and background music everything is too good.

Yeah this was pretty good aside from the screaming (from both the villain and the Goddess).

I was at first a little perplexed by your statement that it's a "pretty old movie", Then I remembered that the mid 90s was nearly two decades ago. Oh God. 😆

Ramya Krishnan portrays the role of goddess superbly.. Her eyes, and body language are awesome..
You should also watch Arundahati.. though the lead actress is not a goddess. she looks and acts like one.. just amazing
Even the costumes that most south indian movies have for their goddess are amazing..

this is my fav too. i lost sleep for almost a month after seeing it in the theater. and this is one milestone movie which started the trend of all goddess based movies in tamil and telegu.
