Do you guys exactly know how Rati earned her first salary? Most of her fans outside the cyber world may guess due to her acting projects. But can you imagine she earned her first salary through tuitions.Beside this naughty and bubbly Rati, there is also a hidden soul of strict teacher.Rati herself was a bright student of one of the most prestigious college Miranda House of Delhi University. After all this angel is beauty with brains .Apart from being an actress,Ms.Pandey is a businesswoman too.She runs the construction business along with her brother. And she has a small catering business too.And more secret about Rati is that she is also a good cook.In short Rati is a sarv gun sampann lady..

God has bless our angel with nightingale's voice. Before entering television serails,Rati was a playback singer and also worked in some music albums. She was also approached for singing reality show Star Ya Rockstar.

In one of the memorable Kajrare Interview with Arjun-Rati,Rati was asked -who dances better-Your producer or Arjun? Rati answered - My producer Mr.Sudhir Sharma.Arjun jokingly said-She is praising her producer coz he will give her another show. That joke turned into reality.Mr.Sudhir Sharma was so much impressed by Rati's acting that he offered her another show "Na Bole Tum" after MJHT
Do you guys know Rati is also a good athlete and she loves cricket a lot as well as a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar,
I must say Rati has got craziest set of fans. And one of the biggest epitome of the madness level is that one of her fans cut his hand and wrote a letter with his blood proposing Rati.
.When season 1 of MJHT ended,Rati was offered a role in Uttran opposite to Rohit Khurana. But due to some issues, she dropped this offer.Later surprisingly Rohit Khurana also got offer to play a cameo opposite to Rati in MJHT only. And Arjun-Rati-Rohit enjoyes a lot working together.
.Rati was on the peak of her fame when she played bubbly and chirpy Nupur. The very popular character was in MJHT suddenly and Rati was shown the doors. But this was not the end of the story. This was not at all acceptable by her die-hards.This was the first time RP fan power was felt in the television industry. The fans bombarded each and every Television sites with requests to bring Rati back, spammed the inboxes of channel, grilled with letter and phone calls. The production house was left with no other option other than bringing her back.Rati was brought back within 2months due to huge fan demand. And MayUr magic flourished again.
Rati Pandey is a very good linguist. She knows 8-9 languages .I just wish Pandey Ji to say "I love You" to all her fans in those languages. It would be a biggest tribute for us.
When our angel smiles, she lights up this world. Her smile was rated as the best smile in Indian Telly Awards 2012.
Rati got the role of Hitler Didi on her birthday last year which makes her birthday even more special.

Rati not only made character of Hitler Didi so popular but also made the Hitler's uniform so iconic. Here is an extract from the recent telegraph article.
{'Hitler Didi is coming .Sri Arvind Mahila College in Patna has introduced a new uniform from this year's Part I batch and it is based on the pattern of the Patiala suit sported by Rati Pandey, the lead actress of Hitler Didi. "One Girl,
who gave life to Four Beautiful Souls"

Rati made her debut with television with Deepti Bhatnaghar's show Shaadi Street.
Rati played the Role of Nandini who was chirpy and bubbly. She was a pretty girl who looked angellic with open hairs, very young and cute. She believed in living life on her own conditions. Nandini was the youngest of all siblings and was brought up by her widow mother. She was the most responsible and sensible one and her mother believed her the most. She was very talkative and fun loving but this nature of her was lost somewhere due to certain circumstances and forced her to become a "no-nonsense" personality. She used to detest her neighbours because their son was accused of her father's murder. Because of her frank and true nature she was disliked by the wicked people of the street. Because of their false complains, her mother used to chide her everytime.
She fell in love with a boy of her colony, who had returned after 10 years, whom she met in her friend's wedding for the first time. Their love story was magical which was very well portrayed by Rati. But their love was not easy, as the boy turned out to be the one who was accused of her father's murder. There were many twists and turns in episodes of the serial, but before their love story could reach the climax, the show was called off due to some problems. 5-6 years later Star purchased the rights of the serial and aired the show on Star One.
Rati at the time of the serial, was very young and had a less matured, angelic, delicate and cute face and rosy pink lips. She looked just like a doll. She used to wear simple suits with open hair, which suited her a lot. Even though she was new to the industry, she portrayed amazing acting skills.

So how different are you in real life, from your screen image? "We are like chalk and cheese and thank God for that!" Prathana believes in arranged marriage, while "I can wed only for love", Rati Pandey quipped.
A new era has begun in Tellywood with producers ringing in rookie actors for plum projects. Rati Pandey is one such young and talented actress who's cashing in big time. The actress was playing the lead character, Prarthana, in Zee's soap Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai.
Rati Pandey is a young and upcoming television actress who has already won many hearts with her beautiful and touching performance in ZEE TV's drama series Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai. Rati is a cute and beautiful and girl with a great body. She is an ideal fit for the role of Prarthana in Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai. Prarthna is a sweet homely girl with a dream of getting married to nice boy from a joint family. Her dreams come true after she gets married to Akshay Thakral. But destiny has something else in store for her as Akshay's friend Mohini enters their life with her bitchy behavior.
Elaborating on the character, "Prarthana is a simple and conservative girl. Born and brought up in a joint family, she believes in arranged marriage. She always puts her family's interest ahead of her." Prarthana is an orphan who has been brought up in a joint family by her uncle. She dreams of marrying into a happy joint family. Though she gets married into a rich joint family her dream shatters when she realises that the family is divided with each member living his or her own individual life.
I really like the concept where they story deals with 3 girls, where the first girl is very kind, loving and caring and long to be with her inlaws and family, but is not lucky enough to get the happiness she has always desired.
Prarthana is a character which seems too pushy, is someone who can't see anything wrong happening in her vicinity... her interference is objectionable, but the way she has been brought up in closeness, where one knows what is the problem in other person's heart, and all come together to resolve that (what is true about Gyan's family also)... emotions and relationships are given weightage over materialism... But she has always been protected... when she first got into Thakral family, she doesn't know how to handle it... so her ways are amateurish and pure... and that looks interfering undoubtedly... But she grows... she has the objective of making 'Love Rules'... and her life is a trial and error. till she becomes mature and handles the things nicely...
One thing I liked about this serial, bcos they are trying to show that nobody is perfect and every person have his/her weaknesses...
Prarthana was never a weak person, which is why she is admirable. A lesser woman could maybe have run away or attempted suicide with all these accusations. It is almost as if Akshay wanted Prarthana to become unbalanced! As Akshay's wife, will Prarthana be able to forgive him? At the back of her mind she will always know that he believed the worst of her. Even if he realizes his mistake, the mistake has been made. Prarthana will probably forgive him. The typical wife concept,yes..but the actor behind the character made it look so flawless that we are able to fathom the situation. Hail Rati for playing the character fabulously!
She added another feather in her cap with her professionalism and courage through sickness even.Television actors, especially those working in daily soaps, are prone to falling ill but that never deters them from stopping their work. Another name has been added to the list of brave hearts. Rati Pandey, aka Prarthana of Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai fame, continues shooting despite suffering from a severe back pain.
"I've been suffering from spondylitis for a long time. It has flared up again. After shooting for 8 hours, my back really hurts. During this time, I take short breaks but continue shooting, said Rati.A true artist, she is!
A stuntwoman she aspires to be,Rati has commenced it from the days of Prarthana itself when she attempted this. A unique bahu she is, her bravery were displayed in the news below'.if ure thinking so what's a coy bahu material Prarthana aka Rati Pandey doing on a road bursting at the seams with traffic? Rati had to put her life at risk for a scene which was being shot on the arterial road of Powai. She had to run through the traffic and she shudders when she thinks of how she did it. "This was shot at 9.30 pm in Powai. The scene required me to run on the road, amidst the traffic. In the scene, I catch my father-in-law kissing his girlfriend in a disco. So I start running away in a shocked state like a zombie and that too in a sari. It was a risky shot, but I decided to go ahead with it. Also this was an important turn-around in my character - initially Prarthana is supposed to be a cry-baby and this is the turning point in her life. I don't like to play a typical bahu and my dream role would be to play cop. Perhaps I'll get to do more stunts then."
Her versatility, natural acting and inner urge to put life in each of her role enabled actress Rati Pandey to earn name and fame in the TV serial. She likes to emote and always likes to be transparent. It is remarkable that she does not act; she does only what she feels. Acting is just like oxygen to her and she is in love with it. She also does not like to follow one particular genre of acting as it gets too boring with the passage of time. She likes to be versatile in whatever she does and would like to try her hands in various sorts of roles. In order to be a successful actor one needs to be very hardworking and committed to his or her work and Rati Pandey is definitely one.
Her alertness and versatility really counts and one will learn on how to get into skin of the character that is played when watching her. She does not always adhere to a given script. She shares a good rapport with the director. In some cases she goes beyond the script and experiments with the script as acting naturally comes to her. She opines that acting is a bit difficult as well and requires lot of effort, especially when one has to enact a sad role in spite of being happy. According to her fans the thing, which makes the persona of Rati so popular with the viewers, is the depiction of a today's woman who is independent, hardworking and an all-rounder. She is portrayed as a superwoman who manages her career with great confidence and zeal.
She is both as a director's actor and actor's actor and likes to maintain a balance both with the director and her co-star. Rati Pandey is a talent laced with beauty. She is not only beautiful but also an actress of good brain. She has become a household name after her appearance as an utterly de glamorized character in the serial Har ghar kuch kehta hain. Described as the girl with fire in the belly to make her mark. Rati wonderfully portrays the character of Prarthana. This central character is about a dutiful daughter, perfect daughter-in-law, loyal wife, ideal mother and a sympathetic human. This character is all about a perfect homemaker who is responsible for binding the entire family in one single string of peace and harmony
It is a well-known fact that now she does not need an award to know that she is a good actor. It is through the responses of her adorable fans that she gets honored each and every day. Well, it is indeed true that an actor with such huge potential cannot go unnoticed by the audiences and she is sure to win the hearts of the industry critics and get duly rewarded for her performances.Prarthana was designed typical bahu style but today it is apt for a review this long only because of the magical touch of one and only Rati Pandey..Prarthana might not have soared high but the actor behind it made sure that it remains unique and today we stand here as the exact testaments of her prowess as an actress cos she is blessed with the magic of making any character a success!
JAI HO RATI PANDEY!

Flash news!
{'Hitler Didi is coming .Sri Arvind Mahila College in Patna has introduced a new uniform from this year's Part I batch and it is based on the pattern of the Patiala suit sported by Rati Pandey, the lead actress of Hitler Didi. Now, if the above is not an evidence of our queen's excellence, then what is? An educational center has given our rati pandey an honorary stature of being an inspirer! Vouch for the fact that no one, no one can match up to Rati Pandey as our Hitler Didi!
From the bubbly one to the Hitler! She leaves no dark spots!
From the start. She came into the house with her own Hitler style.
What style she has! Rati, you are amazing! -Rati Pandey delivered an intimate and authentic portrayal that was packaged in a manner unlike any protagonist I've seen before.
"You can watch it without the sound and she will still wrench your gut."One of great performances, the strength and tenderness she shows are amazing to watch.
An essential document in the annals of Indian serials, a painful yet beautiful account of a young woman's ability to transform tragedy into boundless courage and hope and it was all set in motion by the sheer will, determination, and courage of Indira who would pull herself back from the brink of death to become a winner and inspire.
Indira Sharma is no carefree, pampered girl though and so hers is a study in contrast. She has little time for loving her nephew into wakefulness, is not going to smile indulgently at her sister in law sneaking in a quick sleep, refuses to recharge her sister's phone till her exams finish, has no patience for her mother living in denial about her husband, and not going to stop her from calling it like it is to her brother's face. Lest you think that she is utterly devoid of finer feelings though, she makes but one indulgence to her strict routines ' leaving a chocolate under her brother's pillow because she knows that Ishaan likes to see his father's magic tricks before he leaves for school .
Indira is no wilting flower. Don't expect her to be patient and listen quietly; as Indira tells us in her own words, she may not laugh but "main rone walon mein se bhi nahin hoon".-indira even shocks'-no one has taken birth yet to get me evicted from SN'!-Pure brilliance! When i think of Indira, I think of her as one imperfect unique soul whom makes me think hours after end raving in her thoughts...RATI DI! Salutations!
Indira's strength almost single-handedly provides the fortitude needed for the cvs .So many actresses won awards for playing the lead but Rati is a true gem. Her presence on screen is powerful. Her eyes, her gestures, her dialogues ' are incredible and bring the watcher to tears. The dialogues, she just lifts them towards life with her delivery. The scene with the Sharma s where she gets angry is just perfect. There is such a duality to her character and she carries it off with such an ease.
As i go by the episodes, I am thrown into a whirlpool of emotions that Indira faces. Her character is real. She isn't a coward; she stays and exercises her responsibilities even though it kills her from the inside. How much more stronger can one be? This is one such serial where I feel awful whenever Indira gets hurt. INDIRA is very strong indeed. To stand so much pressure and yet be ignored, that needs a Hitler in itself.
Rarely do you see an actor inhabit the character they play so completely, from mannerisms to vocal inflection to stop and start frantic energy and the odd wink at the viewer. She played the part with reckless abandon and a heavy dose of physicality, slipping effortlessly between successions of characters, without once losing the essential underpinning of Indira. Perhaps most impressive, she maintained the energy and feverish intensity throughout, never dropping off.
She simply encompasses the pain and endurance in her every word, action and expression. IN the whole serial, you don't see her struggling for getting more attention. Any other actress could just play the role above average, but Rati's acting succeeds in every level! The result is a superb and captivating performance that captures from her very first moment on screen until the last scene leaving me asking "oh, where is she? I want more of her!" The transformation of the authoritative Hitler into a exploding rebel who start questioning opinions and orders is really one of a kind!
I almost always praise her eyes 'those two compelling globes that have the ability to turn from fiery to frosty in a millisecond. Few realize that Rati Pandey is a peerless physical actress who can turn ordinary scenes into moments of dramatic brilliance with her mastery of movements. She moves quickly in rhythm with her terse and tense dialogue. The brilliant actress exchange verbal missiles while crisscrossing the limited space in utter fluidity of motion. Finally, when the emotions explode, the character spill onto the street to sweep the audience in me with her full, ferocious force.
Whether seated on a bench of revelation getting to know her worst fate or standing in front of a mirror trying to make a smile using her hands in her earlier days, Rati moves deliberately and with careful calculation 'like a jaguar stalking its prey, or a butterfly with wings unfurled in the middle of flight. Away from the prying eyes of the public and the press, it is as if she is in the middle of a command performance for the queen as she gracefully articulates with her hands, or even as she lets out a hearty laugh.
Heart breaker episode, the explosive revelation scene that showed termination of Indira's life with brain tumor showed once again Rati's brilliance in physical acting. With one hand clutching her heart and the other outstretched on the ground as if grasping an invisible support, the actress wisely showed the complete silhouette of her body. With that, she was able to paint a transfixing picture of dying in the span of a few, quick frames. Through that scene, she gives the viewer in me a vicarious experience of dying so much that the viewer flinches in sadness and imagined pain.Even the simple act of combing her hair and discovering the hair loss becomes a moment of beauty--note the tension in the fingers and the smolder in her eyes. The pose that can explode any minute into spectacular fireworks.
I think perhaps the best or at least the most unique part of this performance is that she underplays the neuroses and tics of her character, all culminating in her climactic scene, heartbreaking as she grabs the don on the collar and pleads. Even as the most difficult character in the serial, the only truly sympathetic character, she nails so many of the little moments, such as her terrified and broken reading of rishi s name on her mobile.
When she vowed to win the dance competition for her family...
You could see from the fire in her eyes that these weren't empty words. You could also see that whatever she is feeling after winning was something that was bringing a certain amount of sadness, but also an electric joy. We don't often see that electric joy, and we certainly don't often see it on TV, because we don't often get to hear from people who are down to their last few days. Uniquely, Indira makes us go through that...
For the first time, I loved a brother sister scene on TV. All the credit goes to the angel, rati di! her devotion towards enacting the role perfectly in The fight scene where her never say die attitude came up, and the way she ran to save Vidhit, maximized my awe for Indira. She never gives up! Rightly said, she is probably the only action woman on Indian TV and yes, the title is rightfully hers. Even the beating Indira received shuddered but indira fought back. Indira is an inspiration, the powerful girl from Chandni Chowk who braves her way through life in spite of all the hurdles pitted against her.
If we consider the challenges, the fears we the ... regulars face every day now magnify that, many times. Perhaps, then we may have a slight notion of what this young woman's life was like.no one but Indira knew what her internal fears were, Indira knew her final days was a complete struggle, but like a Lion, she is pushing through it best she could...
Commendable indeed!!! When you hear Hitler, you think either the character would be scary, mean and in some way carry a negative vibe. On the contrary I find Indira and her approach heartwarming and endearing. Her little gestures, her low, high tones each carry a different emotion and depth.
We are blessed with the opportunity to witness an amazing life, someone that touched the viewers with her gift of talent. It is now up to us, to choose which portion of that life we would most like to remember... her being Rati or Indira because she seems to live Indira...
These are reasons enough to celebrate Indian TV's most brilliant star. Indeed, Rati's enduring radiance, and her powers of bringing life to a character shine bright and clear' even from the flat, single dimension of a TV screen. she is not some ordinary diva. She is a DIVA! - Divinely Inspired Victoriously Anointed.A legend Indira is and she will remain one in our history forever'
