Who loved Arjun more Ovi or Purvi?

It really depends. To me Ovi's love was an obsessive love; she had no life outside of Arjun. Her career, hobbies (other than putting make-up on and shopping) were secondary to becoming a trophy wife. Purvi "appeared" to love Arjun but I never saw that love emerge or develop. I saw Arjun and her have some "friendly" coversations but little in the way of chemistry developing on her part. After her break-up, they went on trip together and then, there was the incident with MMS and suddenly Arjun realized he was in love but I never saw it from Purvi. It was rather forced. Even throughout the whole romantic scenes, it just seemed to be missing.

Well said! Ovi is, no doubt, madly obsessed with Arjun. She sees him as an object that she must gain the possession of under an circumstance. To me, she seems like an over grown child wanting a toy a.k.a Arjun. How could this madness be love?

Ovi does not love Arjun, she wants him, she is obsessed with him. Loving would be wanting to see him happy at all costs, much like a parent that would sacrifice all to see her child happy. Ovi gives not a thought to him when he stands there next to her at the reception lost in his own misery. There is not one iota of remorse at what she has done, no empathy for his suffering, she is excited and happy she got what she wanted. That is selfish to the core and selfishness is the very antithesis of love.

I thought Purvi loves Arjun and perhaps she does but she does not love him enough, she loves her mother more.

I agree with you, Arjun if he had any sense would chuck both girls like old, torn socks and take off to find a girl that loves him, Arjun, and cares for his happiness and well-being more than her own.

As for the sacrifice, Purvi is a fool, Archana has tested the limits of my patience. How could she want to move in to the house so Purvi's sacrifice is not in vain? I would be trying to set the wrong right if Purvi were my daughter instead of rejoicing at the fact my family will be restored to me. At what cost your happiness? Your daughter's happiness? That should be too high a price for any mother. The way she jumped up at Sachin's remark that Ovi wants her back was insult to Purvi's sacrifice in my mind.
How could she go to the reception even when her daughter's heart was breaking? If she did not condone the wedding, her presence was not required. It was not a religious occasion, the wedding was over, it was a party, so to endorse what Ovi did (albeit at the insistence of her overly foolish other daughter) and to make Ovi feel good about the way Ovi wronged Purvi, Archana makes an appearance at the reception?? She had the time and mind to deck up when her child was heartbroken? How selfish is that! Purvi tells her if you go Ovi will be happy and so Archana happily trips off. Not kosher at all. I have written posts in support of her in the Manav/Savita situation so there is no bias here, just my two cents and my opinion on the recent epis.

according to me if you love someone, you should have guts to support that person for life long, love is a big happiness that comes with commitment, one should respect love...

here is my view...ovi loves arjun, but arjun was never clear that he never loved ovi...arjun gave very wrong impression to ovi that he is loving her...and he should have cleared everything with ovi before moving to purvi...he didn't do that...
now comes purvi in picture, she just knew arjun's weakness is she, and she new how to use the situation, she was behind arjun till he said to everyone that he loves purvi, and purvi betrayed everyone archana manav sulo by not telling the truth, purvi didn't leave any chance to insult punni even she knew what punni is telling is truth...
when it came to purvi, she just chose what she wants, she never knew the importance of love in the life what it is, purvi always had a dream of reuniting arman but she never know what is the reason for separation, instead of digging into the reason and fixing it, she just chose easiest way which came for her in platter in the form of arjun...and arjun is the one and only asset for her, and she sold it to ovi...purvi doesn't know the meaning of love so how can she love someone...
arjun-purvi made ovi-punni to do anything...and arjun-purvi are the whole responsible for the situation that they are in now...

Ovi obsessively loves Arjun to the point she can't see beyond him. Arjun obsessively loves purvi to the point he can't see beyond her. Purvi obsessively loves archana to the point she can't see beyond her mother. Archana probably only truly loves herself and her quest for Mahaanta. The marriage is to be blamed equally on ovi, purvi and Arjun. They each did what they would find most happiness in, without thinking of consequences for the other people involved. Purvi wanted her mother happy, Arjun wanted purvi happy and ovi just wanted Arjun. Now that the marriage is done in full consciousness of all 3 people involved, with no coercion or force, they should abide by the rules of marriage. Arjun should not go behind purvi anymore, without at least trying to make his marriage work. There is no such thing as pavitra rishta anymore between them except that of in-laws which is pavitra and should not be crossed. If it is, it is illicit and extra-marital whether purvi or ovi consider each other sisters or not. He wasn't insane or unconscious when he was marrying ovi. He did it in his full senses to satisfy purvis demands. If he runs behind purvi again that would prove the adage, once a cheater always a cheater. If he feels cheated, he should be angry on himself more than the girls because he let himself be treated as a commodity by them. They can only exert as much force on him as he allows them to.

Ovi doesn't know the meaning of the word LOVE...she wants what she wants, at any cost and whenever things don't go her way, she tries to kill herself. She needs a psychiatrist ASAP because cutting yourself is extremely abnormal behaviour and people who do that are put in rehab. Purvi loves Arjun very much but she also loves her mother a lot and feels indebted to her and thus if she had married Arjun, she would have felt very guilty and that would have affected their relationship negatively. I still do not condone her getting Arjun married to Ovi...she had no right to impose this marriage on arjun. So the answer to your question, I think Purvi loves Arjun very much and Ovi doesn't love anyone but herself.
