KANK stars say hello to Filmfare cover

Mumbai: Cine magazine Filmfare has launched its collector's issue featuring the stars of this year's most talked about film Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.


The magazine is coming out with four different covers for its next month's issue."Filmfare is finally about the world of cinema and it's great that they're doing this. I don't know if it's original, because Fantastic Four did it with Forbes magazine, but it's a good idea," Shah Rukh Khan says.

The director of the film Karan Johar says, "Shah Rukh is holding a film reel in his hand so he's in a sense holding the film! Preity is the diva she is on screen, Abhishek has a cool hip vibe and Rani is the pretty and has a reflection of that in her eyes. So all of them reflect their character."
With the film having released only a week before the magazine hits the stands, the cross promotion has a happy ending for both.

"The need of the hour is synergy. I think it's great that Filmfare is doing this with a big commercial film like KANK. It's good for both of us," Shah Rukh says. The Editor Filmfare, Jitesh Pillai says, "We're in the age of multitasking, we have the multiplexes, multi-starrers, so we thought why not do a multi cover."

And if there is anyone apart from the fab four who's missing on the cover is, "I would say Sexy Sam. He would add that wham to the collection," Karan Johar says.
