All the awards shows - fake?

hello

the indian film industry - mainly bollywood gives away several awards every year.. be it Film fare awards, Zee, Manickchand, or IIFA. But how far are these awards really given to the people who really deserve them. Year after year, only comercial films are recognised and the so called art films, arent considered to be worth an award?

Do these films really deserve it or are they given the awards because of their name, the people they are backed up by?

Extending it even to actors - good actors like Rahul Bose, Aamir Khan are many times not recognised for their wonderful work ( they are not even nominated) while people like SRK sweep the awards practically every year. Do they deserve te awards or do they win it because of their influence in the industry.

Then there is the IIFA awards - the Indian International Filmfare Awards. They key word being INDIAN. Predominantly all the movies there are from Bolloywood. India does produce many more films apart from Bolloywood films. While, they may not be as popular, they should be given due credit. I am a tamilian, and have watched many Tamil films and other regional films like Malayalam, Telungu, Kanada and some of them are really good. So why dont they reeive their due credit?

Is the industry today only recognising commercial films backed by influencial people? I would think so, would u?

as for iifa it has differnt sections for tamil telugu and malayalam films

but it looks at the market and globally only bollywood rules the boost

for art awards theres always the critci awards

Whether they r fake or real I like watching those fake people in fake dressess 😛

I agree with most of the above except for the last sentence. Can someone explain to me what EXACTLY in DHOOM2, fetched ASH the best actress award?? I seriously don't think her work ( 😉 yeah right) was good enough to even get noticed as an actress (in that movie). Sometimes, the work also doesn't have to be good enough. 🤢

I have seen star screen awards to be quite fair in last few years.... other awards are given the people who perform on stage.... lols....

Ajay devgan is not even given nominations for other awards after splendid performances

even best film category.... how can kabhi alvida na kehna even get a nomination

the filmfare awards are horrible compared to the oscars. they can't even get the simplest things right. for example, kareena kapoor had to scoot by like 6 people to get to the stage to accept her award. at the oscars, and every other american award show, they put those who have been nominated for an award on the aisle. why is that so hard for filmfare to figure out?

first, its really hard to understand what you just said. second, movies are made to make money not to win awards.

Movies Are made TO make Money, that I know... But To Get , YOu GOt More Higher Status........ So Thats Why Everyone Is Trying To be Nominated and Get Award....

And If Movies Are just made to make Money So Why Directors Are Dying To see Their Film , To be Nominated in Oscar............
