What Does Shyam Really Want This Time Around??

I have been racking my brains for sometime now wondering what is the reason Shyam wants to return to RM so desperately...

I get he wants revenge from Arnav and Khushi individually and together...but why he desperate attempt to get back to RM where he knows everyone except Anjali hates him! If he wants revenge he can get it from outside too!!

Honestly I actually dont know what Shyam wants anymore.. does he still claim to love and want Khushi who seemed to be the reason all this started! Does he want money the importance and free flow of which he realised only after Arnav cut the supplies? Or is he just evil for the sake of being evil and has fun hurting Anjali?

What does shyam at this current state.. after Arnav's kidnapping fiasco, where he claimed to have done all of it to get Khushi and she exposed him and declared her hatred for him... what does he want now and why is he so desperate to come back???

I am also seriously thinking of this only, What Shyam want to do
