Dia saves the day for Shahid Amir

Designer Shahid Amir's show for a jewellery campaign had the cream of the industry walk the ramp. Fardeen, Shahid's clotheshorse and devout follower when it comes to fashion, was away in Ooty shooting for the new Ramp Gopal Varma film. But he was right there making arrangements for the show over airwaves for his designer friend.

Shahid's old pal Manisha Koirala also stood up for him, and walked the ramp coming out of a reasonably long public hiatus by Manya's standards. Not just that, when Celina Jaitley who was to walk the ramp for Shahid, failed to show up at the last minute. Manisha picked up her phone and dialed Dia Mirza's number and requested her to fill in. Dia did without much hesitation and Shahid's day was saved.
