I was always a fan of reading from a young age.

Then I came across Harry Potter, and after my obsession for HP grew, I stumbled across fan fiction.

Then I tried my hand at fan fiction (shudders at the memory)

Then as years went by, I decided to watch Indian soaps and find out what the deal was about. Started with Kis Desh Mein Hain Mera Dil, and fell in love.

Stumbled across IF, and started reading a few stories.

Then started watching Dill Mill Gayye, and stumbled across more amazingly written stories. Finally tried my hand at FF again by starting to write a story on Armaan-Ridhima (which is still ongoing). Then wrote a story on Rahul-Muskaan, and from there my writing started :)

I slowly improved as I read more, and wrote more.

Then finally I stumbled across IPKKND. And wrote an OS (Marriage Night) for ArHi :)

And the rest, as they say, is history :P

I have seen your One Shots, and you are amazing! I don't follow fan fictions that much because i occasionally lose track of them with my busy schedule!

for me it is a very different story.until i was about 8 years old i was a tomboy whose whole life was centered around climbing trees and playing army games n waging wars!! books, letters n numbers were a necessary evil..then i transfered schools in grade 4 n the new school had the most fab library an 8 year can have!
n so i started reading and within like 2 days i was addicted to reading..it became such an obsession that my 5th grade class teacher asked mom to make sure she empties my book bad each morning n take out all story books from it!! lol cz i was caught enough times with a book on my lap when she was teaching..somehow that is when my love for reading, which i consider is the 1st step to writing came around..

so the same continued till i was in 7th grade n then i had to pick English literature as a subject n there only i realized i enjoyed writing n soon i used to write small stuff..mostly as assignments, but i always did more than was necessary for just academic purposes..
i have always been good with words since then..when i wanted to cry i used to write..when i was furious also i wrote every thing i felt n then used to throw the sheets away once my anger went away..so it has always been an emotional outlet for me:-)

anyway i have never written fiction till i created them for IF...i was more of a review writer, i loved explaining things in literature aspect of it or writing proses (ah every single one of my university note books have their last pages filled with proses n pencil sketches as that is my time pass when a lecture is boring..n my lecturers r thinking i am writing notes from the lecture!)...u know i am the type to sit near the window when it is raining with a notebook n a pencil..

the reason was i am a very visual oriented person, meaning i need pictures to associate with things..so when it came to ArHi i loved them so much that they were real to me, real enough to create fantasies about them..

so that is how i ended up writing fan fiction.. so well i have to be more than grateful for IF & ArHi for giving me the chance to explore my hobby
