The 'doosri aurat' shown at the funeral in the flashback doesn't look like Garima, so why would Dadi recognizing her be bad? Unless her face matured a lot over the years, but then she did run away and make a new life for herself with Shashi, how would Dadi know what she looked like?
Maybe the 'doosri aurat' was Garima's sister? Khushi's mum? And for some reason Arnav's dad was helping Khushi's mum and the whole misunderstanding happened. And Dadi knows what Khushi's mum's sister (aka Garima) looks like?
I don't think Arnav's Dad had an affair either. He looked genuinely confused when his wife was confronting him. I felt sorry for him 😛
