Which mother, with a young teenage son, will commit suicide that also on her daughter's wedding day? And screw up their lives!

Yes. And poor Arnav seems to have been a witness to that! No wonder he is so messed up!
How could she be so weak.

Or...maybe she was killed and it was made to look like suicide...

looks like even Dadi knew that she was a weak person..remember how she mentioned it to Arnav that his father was not at fault, but his mom was a weak person...so yeah
