Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii: 1,000 episodes and Om's death
The 1,000th episode of Kahaani will air on August 2. Later, the character of Om (Kiran Karmarkar) will be shown dead. And he will not rise back from the dead. Instead, the show will now have the widowed Parvati (Sakshi Tanwar) taking control of her life single-handedly.
There will be a new man in her life at a later stage, who she will trust and confide in, but he will remain her friend with no remarriage on the cards.
Kasauti Zindagii Kay: Mr Bajaj goes into coma
Finally, Mr Bajaj (Ronit Roy) will soon be shown slipping into a coma. According to the channel, Mr Bajaj will be in coma for a while, but will be resurrected at a later stage.

Amitabh Bachchan starts shooting from July 23 at the KBC set in Film City. The ummeed se dugna (prize money is Rs 2 crore) show will air at 9 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
