OS: An ray of light

I wish the CV's would give her a positive personality... in the face of all the grim reality around her she deals with the harshness with strength and positivity which defeats the grimness and bitterness inside RK... Slowly erodes his darkness and brings brightness into his life.

Was thinking that they could give her unexpected moments with people which somehow dont make her feel completely alone.. and show that people can survive...

An OS...

Madhu is standing in the corner brooding about the latest order that RK had shouted out... Feeling thoroughly insulted and confused about how she got to this point in her life completely rootless!!!

Rk looks at her face and decides to send her on another senseless task which will give her a bit more to brood about. "BIWI!!! Go get my blue pen... I left it in the back of the vanity van."

Madhu controls her expression and goes on another fool errand. "Breathe Madhu.. you will go through this.. Keep your cool. He wants you to react and show your sadness." Slow anger starts boiling her again.

It had just stopped raining when she steps outside the set and starts towards the vanity. Suddenly she sees a small shadow rush past her almost tripping her and hears a little boy shouting.. "Roko.. Pakdo usko..." She instinctively bends and grabs it... and screeches seeing a small puppy wriggling in her hand! But it was adorable! Little bundle of black and white with mischievous chocolate brown eyes it almost looked like it was laughing.. She saw big splashes of brown on its fur showing why it looked like it had been having a great time!

A ragged little boy who looked like he was around 9 or 10 years came to a stop next to her panting heavily like he had been chasing the little pup for a while now. He was obviously the chai boy going by the small tin kettle he had in his hand.

Is this naughty puppy yours? she asked... Oh no... he is part of a litter. the mother just had 5 puppies and seems to keep them next to the chai stall. i was just having fun chasing him around and suddenly this one took off. he is so sweet na? thank you for stopping him! Oh no Madam! your dress has got mud on it!! he suddenly looked a little fearful of the consequences to him and the pup. This lady looks so beautiful he thought, she must be a heroine of a movie. "I am so sorry madamji"

She gave him a sweet smile... Oh dont worry... here take him back and hang on to him.

They shared a smile.

There was a sudden below from behind.. "CHOTTU!"

The little boy looked back a little fearfully and said oh oh.. I have to go! nice to have met you madamji!

And took off back at a run towards the chai stall.

She suddenly became aware of where she was and what she was supposed to do... She looked down at her mud splattered hands and dress and a slow smile bloomed on her face. A group of technicians opposite who were gossiping about her situation suddenly became quite in awe of that lovely face and smile. It almost looked like she had lit up from inside.

Madhu slowly walked towards the vanity van. She suddenly felt as if a great weight had been lifted from her heart... she realised what she needed to survive this phase of her life. Joy! She had been feeling lost and miserable. The little smile she had shared with the small boy reminded her that people can survive in any situation. Little Chottu obviously had a grimmer life than her. Suddenly she felt optimistic and ready to face any challenge that RK threw at her. No one can insult me...Only I can demean myself... I am not his wife really... what I am is his spot girl. that is my job. fine! I will do my job and not feel insulted by it... he has paid for my fathers treatment and i have to earn that money by doing my job. so be it. I will not break!

She found the blue pen and walked back to the set. RK looked up as she walked in to the steps with measured steps. He smirked seeing the pen in his hand and looked up to enjoy her reaction... and looked on astonished and arrested at the expression on her face. Her face was as expressionless as ever.. except for the eyes.. they were almost smiling!

RK was mesmerised by the quiet joy in the eyes! They stood gazing at each other lost!

After 5 minutes of waiting for RK's attention Bittuji cleared his throat and said "Chief?" RK came back to himself with a bang and started simmering and shouting out orders...

Madhubala strolled back to her position next to him and stood serenely waiting for the next challenge!

What say people... Instead of rona dhona... it would be nice to see her more positive... na?
