Just like a true husband Ahem stood by his Gopi and never left her side.
From the moment the police arrested Gopi and distress mounting Ahem was there by her side. He tried every possible legal action to remove his Gopi out of jail but the situation was beyond his control. Everything hinged on following bureaucracy and time but he stayed on at the police station not budging to leave her side.
He kept his level headedness throughout. He was spontaneous in retorting the police officer of Gopi's innocence something that was unfathomable in his first year of marriage. His persistence at the police station was incredible and relentless but to no avail. His strength was what was needed to hold Gopi intact.
At the same time nothing favoured the emotions that were running through him. He was charged with a plethora of emotions that wanted nothing other than to have her in his arms, take her back to their home and tell her that everything will be all right. He would have wished it was him rather than her. This was the intensity of Ahem's feelings. This was the raw state of Ahem when he told her to eat and held her arm.
Ahem sure went the extra mile all for his Gopi, his wife, his love and the mother to his child. She means everything to him. She makes his world a better place now. Without her he feels as though he is nothing. This is where Ahem has reached his journey of love with his Gopi.
