Love and Hate

"Papa why did you behave rudely with Mayank?"

Shiv spun around to hear the hurt filled voice of his daughter and he regarded her with shocked eyes, "How did you expect me to behave with him after whatever he did with you"He narrowed his eyes and his angry voice loud a bit, she looked bewildered to see his father behaving like a rude,heartless person. "He is a patient and the way you've behaved with him it'll surely affect his health" It was a sharp inhale, born of pain. Shiv could sense it,despite taking side of his father she was upset for ,caring for that person who'd given her nothing except pain.she gulps of lump as to see his shocking expressions on his father's face, she tried to cover up her emotions and lifted her gaze, "please papa I don't want you to behave rudely with Mayank"

"I still couldn't believe what has happened to my daughter?why she is taking the side of a culprit?".

"please dad'.." She cut his father in between and Shiv gave her a thoughtful look, the way she was speaking for Mayank, those deep emotions in her eyes and whatever he saw in the room it was indicating her daughter had started falling for Mayank.he said nothing but she knew his father had been sensed what was in her heart,slapped away the negative feelings she gasps air and compose herself, "Papa I thought you came to meet Mayank"She spoke carefully trying to cover up her emotions and he regarded her earnestly..

"I came here to see my daughter who didn't think about her parent's feelings before taking such a big step and came here for a person whom we hate the most"his tone raise a bit adding sarcastic. "He is not a stranger for me he is my husband and as a wife its my duty to look after him,do care for him when he needs me" She was getting hurt the way his father was talking about Mayank .She blinked the tears in her eyes and compose her weak,shaking body.

"I don't want you to live here even for a moment?"Shiv declared regarding her angrily ignoring the hurt in her daughter's eyes as somewhere he could see something in her eyes for Mayank that he didn't want to see ever.

"I can't leave Mayank"She stubbornly announced her decision without bothering the angry looks his father was giving her.

"Nupur!!!"he offended and Nupur shivered realizing how could she talk to her father like that.she was an obedient daughter who has never gone against their parents and today she plainly refused to obey their order but today she'd strong reason behind her act and that was her husband,her Mayank.she wanted them to beside her at this moment but they were not trying to understand what their daughter wanted,she was feeling herself alone without them.

"I am sorry papa,I am sorry,I don't want to hurt you"tears shimmered in her eyes and Shiv heart melted pulling her for a hug he patted her back, " my daughter can't hurt me ever I trust her,I know beta you've a heart of gold you can't see anyone in pain but this person whom you are caring for doesn't deserve it as he'd played with our lives,he'd given my daughter so much pain that as a father I can't forgive him Ever"

Tears streamed down and she closed her eyes realizing it was almost impossible to mend these scattered,broken relations.

"Your divorce papers are ready you've to sign those papers to get freed of this forceful relationship"

She quickly pulled away and lifted her gaze at her father in shock,her body still shivering as the words registered in her mind slowly, "yes I want you to get divorced from Mayank"

"Papa'"her voice choked with the hurt and she looked bewildered , "how could you think like this?i can't leave him'I can't leave him'."tears slipped down on her cheeks and hurt filled her voice, "then you've to choose whom you wanted to live with, Mayank or your parents"

Shiv turned on his heels and taking big step left the place in anger leaving her shiver in shock,in hurt at his father's words.

It was almost a half an hour she'd left to talk to her father but still she didn't come back and he was panicking if there was something wrong.he'd been understood Shiv didn't come to see him then what was the reason behind his arrival.Did he come to take Nupur with him?

He gulps of air trying to stable his breath, "No,she'll not leave me,she can't leave me"

The door opened with sound and Mayank roused from his thoughts and lifted his gaze,Nupur gave him weak smile entering in room, "what did uncle say?Did he come to take you with him?"

She let out a gasp of panic before regarding him with brief look, "nothing like that,he just came to meet me"her lips barely moved and lapsed into silence ignoring his gaze on her she walked up to his bed and took out the tray and bowl of soup and kept it on the table, "why are you looking upset?Is there something bothering you"He stared at her dull face for a moment and then spoke.she lifted her gaze and her thin body stiffened to remember her father's last words.

"Nothing---there is nothing that bothering me" she repeated through tightly clenched teeth to stop the painful gasp to let out and Mayank gave her worried look as couldn't understand anything. "Nupur!!!"Mayank dropped his gaze at her worried face, "please tell me what happened?."

Standing up on her heels she closed the distance between them and throw herself in his arms,Mayank gasps taking aback at her sudden act but then slowly slipping his arms around her waist he folded her tightly in his arms and hiding her face in the crook of his neck she slipped her arms around his neck clinging her body to him, "Nupur!!!"he bent and kissed her hairs and then her head,her ears to soothe her "Mayank can we stay like this for some time?"

Nupur bit her lip against the pain as she recalled her fathers's harsh words.A great desperation he sensed in her tone but shrugging the negative vibes he pulled her more closer hiding his face in her neck, "if you say we can stay like this for forever"

Tears trickled down her cheeks as she heard those words and pulling back she lifted her gaze at him, Mayank removed the strands of her hair and she closed her eyes, leaning down he kissed her eyes and sucked her tears,she gasps pulling his head close to her and then lifting her face she stared back in those eyes and had seen what she wanted to see.

He bent and brushed his lips with her and with the great urge she capture them closing her eyes to savor the moment in her heart., "please don't leave me ever" Mayank's voice dropped to a low, a painful whisper against her lips and with strange desperation she pulled his head to give him access into her mouth clinging her body to her and with a moan he plunge his tongue into her mouth stroking her back,kissing her passionately,with the low gasp she pulled herself and hid her face into his hard chest and sobbed out her grief,fear and terror, until there were no more tears left in her to shed. She spent the rest of the night in Mayank's arms.
