CHAPTER 20

"Bye all, meet you soon, Good night" Rahul said as he dropped the three in front of RM and drove off to GH.

"I'm so tired Khushi, I'm going to our room"

"Ok Arnav I'll be there soon"

"Ok" he said and went upstairs.

"Hey Anji tell me what did you do when we were out?"

"Nothing Khushi we just talked"

"I hope your brother recovers soon, so that we can have a big fat wedding for you both"

Anjali blushed.

"Anji, I'm gonna wear a saree tomorrow"

"What?"

"yes""But why?"

"Your bhai wants me to"

"What? Khushi is he really ill?"

"Even I have a doubt on that Anji, but the doctor said so na?"

"yeah , But howcome he said that?"

"Who doctor?"

"No Khushi your husband"

"I don't know. He simply asked me why don't you wear a saree and I told I'll wear one tomorrow"

"Hey its late I think we should sleep now"a

She went upstairs. Arnav was already asleep and hadn't even changed.

"Hey Arnav, get up and change first then you can sleep." She went beside him and patted his shoulder.

"Don't disturb me Khushi, let me sleep"

"You can, but first change"

She pulled him up.

"No need to change Khushi, " saying this he went back to bed pulling Khushi along with him.

She tried to protest but was then lost in the calm look on his face. And she slept with him holding her.

Anjali was the first one to wake up.

"Bhai, Khushi?"

There was no response.

"I think they both wont wake up in the near future, let me check out on Rahul" she said and went to her room.

"Hey Rahul are you up?"

"Yeah anji, just woke up"

"Thank god, I thought even you might be asleep"

"You mean the other two are still asleep?"

"Yeah"

"So thats why my sweetheart thought of calling me?"

"No Rahul, actually.. you are right"

"Nothing to feel embarrassed on that, you would be thinking of them only as first preference because you guys are so close and it should be like that always. I don't have any problem with that. In fact why should I have a problem? He is your brother and she your sister in law and I feel you guys should remain like this forever."

"Oh Rahul, I felt I and Khushi are the ones who talk like this non-stop, but you talk more than us"

"Really?"

"Yeah"

"What about today's plans?"

"Hey wait, I think they are up"

They were about to have tea when they heard the calling bell.

"I'll see who it is" Khushi said and went to the door.

"Welcome Rahul"

Arnav was irritated again on seeing him

"Good morning all"

"good morning Rahul, tea?"

"No I was just passing by so thought of meeting you all"

"Ok"

"I think I'll go and have a bathe" Khushi said

"Same here" Anjali also said

"Then I think I should leave" Rahul said

"Why cant you talk to me?" Arnav now questioned.

"Actually I thought you might not be interested in talking to me"

"Oh. Then leave"

"Sure"

Arnav went to his room.

"So darling he was so desperate?"

"Khushiii"

"Ok ok lets go"

Khushi went to her room and had a bathe. She came out draped in a light yellow colour saree.

"Amazing Khushi, you look gorgeous"

"Arnav, you are here? Go out. I want you to see me only after I'm completely ready"

"Is it? Well then get ready soon, I'll be waiting"

He turned around and let the room. Khushi moved to the mirror and then she heard a sound, did Arnav just scream?

She ran down and there he was , lying on the floor unconscious. Anjali came running and they with the help of Rahul took him to the hospital.

"Dr. Joshi Arnav fell down the stairs"

"Dont worry Mrs.Raizada, let me check"

After almost an hour Arnav was conscious.

"Arnav how are you?"

"Khushi? I'm fine. Why are you wearing a saree?"

Anjali was standing next to Khushi. Both were shocked at that question.

"Arnav, you take rest, I'll be back soon. Khushi can you please come with me?" Dr.Joshi said and moved out of the cabin.

"Doctor tell me what exactly is the matter?" Khushi asked as she entered the doctor's cabin with Rahul by her side.

"Khushi , be patient. Arnav is now normal"

"What?"

"Yeah but the shocking news is, he has lost his memory"

"What?"

"Yeah, he doesn't remember the things what happened after he became mentally unstable"
