agree with you... all sort of atrocities are being and have been shown in the name of drama or story... the sight of shyam smiling after hurting anjali and murdering his child was utterly disgusting! the marriage track has any way been ruined am wondering at what and when the CVs will draw the line... is showing women suffering the only way to raise the TRPs? now we can look forward to more weeks of tears and recriminations with the story going nowhere

Exactly if it is an accident that cause miscarriage then it would have been sad but it would have been ok... But here it is shown the unborn baby is murdered through unscrupulous planning by its father only...

This is what I posted on another member's post & since i'm too lazy to type all that i'm feeling now, i'm just posting it here😊
There no denying that worse things happen in reality, but this is just a 20 min. show & when people like me sit down to watch it, we have certain expectations, we want to see our beloved characters face their trials & tribulations, & come out triumphant, if a little bruised & battered. Moreover, if this show had been like any other show, be it ekta kapoor's or someone else's (i've not seen any of her's ever, but i've heard about all that goes on in them from the members here), things like miscarriage, suicides & twisted story lines would have been the norm, & the audience would not have been shocked & disgusted with the current turn of events.

The the very fact that this story was advertised to be an intense love story of 2 poles apart & strong characters, & which it delivered in the first 6 mn.s or so, but now it's just like any other run of the mill drama, is what gets to the true fans of this show. It was not suppose to be like this. We know Shaym is evil & an obsessed sociopath, but it was never suppose to be about him or even Anjali, though she's suppose to be the parallel lead. Arnav & K were suppose to be the cornerstone of this drama/love story & though i'm n no way saying that the side characters should not be given their own story, their drama should in no way overshadow the main leads. That's where creative writing comes in, the operative word, being 'creative'.

I'm not a creative person, but even I can come up with a thousand different scenarios for shyam's entry into RM & none of them involve the killing of an innocent baby, or any of the harebrained ideas that shyam seems to come up with. No harm in creating drama, but one needs to do it in a manner that does not compromise the essence of the story, mainly the Arshi love story. Everyone harps on the fact that anjali's character is suppose to be weak, dependent & emotionally unstable, but it's high time that the CVs show her trying to come out this funk, especially when the truth was revealed to her. That was the perfect opportunity for the CVs to show her trying to gather the pieces of her broken trust & life & making a move on. Once again i go back to my point of the audience wanting to see their beloved character try to rise above their miseries.

So many, many missed opportunities of making this serial a cut above the rest, just because the creatives opted to choose the easy way out & turn his once awesome love/hate story to the tripe that it has become today.

Hey! degrade women and win trps..how pathetic. now add to it -insult motherhood, fatherhood, love and you get the spice for getting the ratings straight. cringe worthy!
