You know, I really can't bring myself to feel sorry for Anjali ... though I'm sure that Daljeet will play this miscarriage scene out brilliantly; I honestly can't empathise with Anjali because I think that she had it coming.
It sounds really horrible and mean; but actually this is the woman who is going behind her Chotte's back -- just because she thinks she can't live without her husband -- completely ignoring the fact that her Chotte would never wish any evil on her; and is merely looking out for her.
It's selfish and rude because Arnav sacrificed a lot for Anjali.
He sacrificed his love, made his love suffer for something that Shyam was responsible for -- this isn't Anjali's fault -- Arnav should have asked Khushi before misunderstanding her -- but in the hindsight of it all, Arnav did all of this for his Di, so that he could protect her.
How does she repay him? Go behind his back and meet up with her husband in secret.
So, I think that this miscarriage is Karma coming to bite her in the a**. But also a blessing; after all, once Anjali comes out of her ideal world and realises what a disgusting man her husband is -- would she have been able to love her child the same way after knowing that it was also Shyam's? -- I think that the CVs have done us a favour. I would have hated to see a track where Anjali goes into Postnatal Depression and leave Khushi and Arnav to pick up the pieces -- then it really would be Didi Ki Saut.
I just had to get this off my chest. Apologies if this post offended anyone, and no I am not bashing Daljeet -- I just don't really like her character, Anjali, at the moment.
