Its was like ,she feels that her love of her life is coming back to her and so she shouldnt engage but an alarm clock her promise given to her mother forces her to put to the ring .

Yesterday when i watching this particular scene,this scene reminded me of dil mil gaye season 2,u know there was female lead ,ridhima always loved arman but arman left her al of sudden due to his ilnes,she had gone crazy ,sick,but sid arived in her life,who gave her strength,a new meaning to her life,she even started liking him,but then suddenly armaan ariued told her the reason why he left ,shocked to see maried,this woman sided with hubby,dint want to lose him,even got married to him second time as first time it was forced mariage due to situations,but gues what on honeymoon arman arives and gues she begins to feel presence of armaan,i hate the women becoz i feel that she destroyed the life of sid while her fans suport her by saying she tried to love to sid becoz he is most caring hubby but love cannot be forced,yesterday s episode where she begins to feel jagya ,it reminded of dmg.

Comparing bv and dmg character -
Jagat=Riddhima (Always confused)
Anandi=Siddhant (considered as a good hearted man, rest are selfish in dmg)
Gaury=Armaan (Selfish but romantic, the lover boy and hero of dmg)

U have seen that Sid already senses of riddhima coming into his life when tamanna leaves sid. But this result in starting of devastation of sid's life when riddz make reentry in dmg season 2. Sid also senses when riddhimma was in danger and he saves her life. Same thing is happening with Anandi.
At the end riddhima choses sid over armaan but sid leaves her and she went back to armaan. This is going to happen in bv also.

Well dmg is ended at this point but if extended this show they will show sid shilpa union because they were best friend and at the end sid consider shilpa as a special being. He didn't recognise that he loves shilpa unconciously at that point. I wish they had shown this but there armaan and riddhima are lead.

So there will be ANSH union and one day anandi will find shiv as her soulmate.

Anandi was already overwhelmed by situation and was acting like she was in trance since she had proposed to Shiv. So when the actual moment of commitment came, the reality about enormity of the step she was about to take hit her. That's why she became apprehensive and looked towards Shiv for reassurance and then reminded herself of death bed promise to her mom as courage before putting ring on his finger.
It had nothing to do with Jag.
