That my friend I cannot do ! I do not like hiding things. But, I have decided to take 1 quality from each of the women mentioned above and mix them up against them.

1) Anjali: Refuse to see the truth (or any Anjali scenes!)
2) Dadi: Refuse to ask questions and just make judgement. (she can do whatever she wants)
3) Mami: Refuse to accept outsiders (in my case anyone apart from Arshi! )

Since you are trying to look at positive qualities of each character, I give you full marks. Below is my opinion of he 3 ladies.

Dadi: She says she wants to see Arnav and Anjali happy. I feel she has no right over them as she abandoned them when they needed her the most. She is not letting me enjoy Arshis wedding. I will tolerate Dadi for only a while since I think Shyam has manipulated her into thinking that Khushi is at fault here. But if you think that she has ASR like characteristics, then she better use those brains of hers to find out the truth.

Anjali: I sympathised with her initially after Shyam was thrown out of RM. But no more. She has lost my respect as a woman, wife and sister. If she believes that her husband is right then she should have left RM after him. If she believes that her brother is right then she should not be meeting her husband on the sly, and betraying her brother.

Mami: Now this character confused me during and after the kidnapping track. No doubt she is the most intelligent in the show. She has learnt to defend herself in this world. Such a woman should be able to judge another person in a short period. She has seen Khushis concern for Arnav. She knows that Khushi has gone great lengths to rescue Arnav. Then why is she still upset with her?

I don't like the way she addresses both Khushi and Payal.

I think the main theme of IPK is showing flawed charachters, but good and correct in their own right. Maybe seeing this, people will communicate better in their real lives 😛

I totally understand your POV... and its my point of view as well!!! I think the best part of IPK and the reason why we all LOVE the show and Crazy about the show is because of THESE CHARACTERS and the CONSISTENCY OF THESE CHARACTERS... I bet we cannot name even a single show where the CHARACTERS HAVE THIS CONSISTENT!!

We all relate to the characters of this show and they behave like any normal human being would do in those situations!!!

MY TAKE

DADI: How long this character been around? Not even a month and she seems like such an integrated part of the FAMILY, the chemistry, the relationships...Its Awesome...she fits right in!!! The way they showed similarities between ARNAV and DADI I think was very important for us to understand DADI and how she behaves the way she does.

MAMI: I always loved her character and over the top makeup, dressing, english and small talk... because that's what a PERSON with INSECURITIES does... that's how a person WHO COMES FROM A POOR BACKGROUND does TO FIT IT and get acceptance. People like these feel very threatened (Mami feels threatened by Payal and Khushi and feels like they will take control away...) ARNAV TOTAL UNDERSTANDS MAMI...he knows she means no harm to Payal and Khushi...and BUT IN THE NEED OF TIME...SHE WILL SUPPORT THEM, PROTECT THEM...(Like she did during kidnapping...but after that she is back to her core character of getting over insecurities...)

ANJALI: She was probably the sweetest person in the show...and probably to us she was the simplest of ALL... but NO...she has layers to her character too... (I agree, CVs and writers have gambled with her character in between probably due to bashings and TRP)... she has her own insecurities!!! Her own way of looking at life...Though she seemed like the most mature character on the SHOW...she is not... BUT SHE CAN NEVER BE NEGATIVE or HATE Somebody (I would have been surprised if they had shown Anjali hating Khushi or distancing herself from ARNAV)!!! To me this is the least explored character to me... we are yet to see different shades of Anjali... which will probably unfold in coming days!!!

In my own life I have seen characters like Dadi, Mami and Anjali and can understand their reactions... I think human mind, heart and relationships are very complex THE HARD PART IS MAINTAINING THEM, UNDERSTANDING THEM... and Everybody have their way of DOING IT... and their way to RIGHT and WRONG...

Beautiful Analysis! I agree with each and every line.

I think human relationships are so volatile. We need to handle each one with a different approach!
We need to be and act different with different people. And most importantly, communicate with different people accordingly!

That is the thing I appreciate most about IPK...I understand each and every character's POV, I might not agree with it. But I understand it. I haven't detected too much over the top drama. Hence it is so gripping and each episode keeps us wanting for more 😊
